Like I said before, I was wondering if it is possible to send and recieve faxes with a cable modem (and a regular fax machine), and if so how?

Yeah it is. What u do is you put your cable modem on top of your fax machine. Turn down the lights play some mood music and soon you'll have baby cable fax machines.
