Okay, so the Gilette stuff was starting to burn. I guess I developed some sort of reaction to the hardcore anti-perspirants. So I moved to deodorant (as opposed to anti-perspirant which actually STOPS sweat instead of covering it up). Still it caused a burning sensation. I finally resorted to using the pussy stuff... Dove Sensitive Skin Hypo-Allergenic Deodorant. I figured there's NO WAY I could react badly to this... but it's been three days of use and whatta you know! Every fucking night my pits itch like a motherfucker. Am I fucking allergic to EVERYTHING? Any suggestions? I refuse to go French (smell bad).

You're not alone.

Years ago, I had a bad reaction to Degree. Ever since then, I've been hyper-sensitive to antiperspirants. I also had a bad reaction to Dove. Try Almay. It's kinda a chick deodorant, but it's unscented and it works well.

I used to get outbreaks like that, but I took some medicine and I'm better now. It's about suppression.

Anything Dove makes gets me itching, I think it's all cayenne pepper and hotsauce personally.

ADF - That post and picture made me laugh so much the coke I was drinking came out my nose. My kids were very amused by that.

CHICKENHAWK - Simply put, some people are so allergic that even being around certain things provokes a reaction. The example that comes immediately to mind was a doctor I represented, who had latex sensitivity. Not only couldn't he wear latex gloves himself (and gloves are absolutely essential when working in an ER setting), he couldn't even be around other people who wore latex gloves. Now that's hypersensitive.

I had the same problem with Secret.

Then it was anything scented.

I now wear UNSCENTED deodorant/anti-perspirant.

I have VERY sensitive skin, so I'm extra cautious.

I use to use Dry Idea for about 6 years.I had this incredible itching.My doc was on vacation.So I went to a doc-in-the box.He kept on asking me it must be your deodorant.I insisted its not.Now I have to use Secret.Must be a damn conspiracy. <P>

I have a latex allergy and i'm not fighting what you have to say. Luckily for me there's birthcontrol and faithful girlfriends out there.

Trojan and Avanti make polyurethane condoms. They can be used just like latex condoms.

Beware of lambskin condoms. They can protect from pregnancy, but not STDs.
