OK, I should worn glasses practically all my life.Ended up getting bifocals during the summer.Bifocals don't have that line in them like your parents wore.I have these cute, hunter green, yuppie looking ones.My husband just told my I look sexy in my glasses.Anybody think glasses are sexy???To me, they are annoying.

Sure, they're annoying, but squinting isn't sexy.

I have worn glasses since the 5th grade and have loathed them for almost the entire time. . . but then I realized something.

Picking out a pair of frames is like picking out an expensive piece of jewelry - you want it to make you look AND feel beautiful/sexy/desirable - so you should take your time.

I'm currently drawn to wire-frames in funky shapes - like elongated octagons, or elliptical rectangles - because they draw lots of attention to my eyes, which I consider to be my best feature.

My boyfriend feels they give me an "alter-ego", too. . . adding layers to my look.

I'm up for a new complete pair this year and I can't wait to see the frames I can pick! :)

Don't let it get you down. Glasses can be INCREDIBLY sexy. And if your husband thinks they are, and you feel good in them, why bother thinking they're not sexy?

Glasses which "fit your face "is the key.

Ever notice the "spare pair" of glasses phenomena. Sometime you can find a "classic look",but most times,you can look dated (and like you'll never get a date again).

Thos people who "don't" look sexy in their glasses (like my roommate before she got her new frames) just blindly grab a pair of frames and hand them over to the optometrist without bothering to see whether they flatter their faces or not.

As Ari said, if you get frames that suit your face, you will look sexy. It's tough to find them, though.

LensCrafters used to post pictures of different face-shapes and have these plastic calipers to measure your face so you could find the "perfect fit" for your frames. You'll have to sit down and analyse your face-shape AND your face-size before you can pick the best frames for your face.

If you have trouble choosing, take your best friend along (or another person whose opinion you trust) to help you decide on the best look.

I tend to steer away from plastic colored frames because I don't feel comfortable in them.

And I don't look sexy in them. I look NERDY.

My current frames make me feel sophisticated and, dare I say it?, classy in addition to being sexy. :)

If you have trouble choosing, take your best friend along (or another person whose opinion you trust) to help you decide on the best look.this is especially a good idea if your eye sight is really bad. my sister always has me go along with her when she needs to get new frames because her eye sight is so poor that she can't even see what the frames look like on her when she tries them on, since they don't have the prescription lenses in them yet. it's generally been up to me to decide on her frames - an important task, since she wears her glasses most of the time.
