i think as long as it was a nonviolent crime, sure. but only after finishing out their sentence. my reason is this. say a guy has been convicted of selling superdank spacecabbage kind nuggets. he never agreed with the law, and always voted liberatarian, or green party etc. now that he's been caught, he has very little he can do to work towards changing the very law that both inprisoned him and took away his rights.

If polyamory is wrong... i don't want to be right.

Yes. They've done their time. That and the democratic party could probably offer them enough "social program" bribes to vote for the good guys!

hell yeah they should b able to vote or depending on what jurisdiction ur violated u vote in the other. ie if u sent to a state pen u should still be able to vote in federal elections
but not in state. and vice versa...

Absolutely not. If you show a wanton disregard for the law, and for the welfare of your fellow citizens, why should you have a voice in making them?
