How has the internet failed you personally?

I was searching in vain for a picture of Mr. Slate (Fred Flintstones boss at the quarry). I needed it for my boss' b-day but I failed. I was extremely dissapointed! Which made wonder how has the Internet failed the other members of the R&FMB. Additionally, I would appreciate any pictures you guys can round up of Mr. Slate. Thank you!

I was challenged a while back from some of the chick members in one of my Yahoo! clubs to try to find a picture of the actor Eric (or Eriq) La Salle as "Darryl Jenks", the Soul Glow jehri curl sportin' character from the movie "Coming to America".

I found tons of pics of him from E.R. and other shots, but not a damn one from that movie. I think he must have paid someone off to get all pictures of him deleted. I got so frustrated I almost rented the damn thing and pulled out my digital cam, but it had turned into a QUEST by then!

It still pisses me off that I can't find one.

Sometimes searching for shit is like pulling teeth.
For images, I use google image search. For Mister Slate I'd type in just like this...
"Mister Slate"+Flintstones
I find the + helps and the quotes, I also use ( ) around key words on occasion. I hate it when I cant find something simple. I feel the internet failed me with these freaking pop up ads and having to pay for stuff that should be free. I understand people want to make money, but what attracted me to the internet in the first place was the idea that I can get information quickly and easily and for free and its becoming more and more difficult to do that.
