time to bring this thread back on topic. it is so fucking cold out, i absolutely hate it. in my apartment, we have no control over the heat - they send it up when they want, and stop seinding it when they want. it is awful. i'm all bundled up and still cold. i slept with mittens on last night

outside, of course, is even worse. i have to do a lot of walking to get to school every day and i assure you that it has been most unpleasant of late. the only thing saving me is my new mittens - they're on a string that goes through my sleeves so that i don't lose them, like a little kid's. they're great

Do you have one of those plug-in heaters? I have one at home and one at work, they work pretty good.

I don't know what the temperature is over there but my Weatherbug tells me it's -9 here. And that's before correcting for windchill. I hate the cold, my camry has great heat but is in the shop for a cracked axle at the moment. I'm going to have to take the 83 Benz to get it and the heat in that SUCKS. I think I got frostbite last night on the way back from the hospital. Fuckin' Diesel.

Well the good news is, it's finally popped out ...Meanwhile, why not take in a movie. When the heat was out in my old building (42nd 'tween 8th & 9th} for 3 weeks in January they were a life-saver.
