Rock vs. Brock was great, as was Angle vs. Mysterio. That pay-per-view had three great matches.

I liked the Rumble. It's only January and we have a MOTY canidate already with Angle vs. Benoit. Plus the Rumble match was fun.

I have to admit, the Angle/Benoit match was incredible. Not that I didn't expect that from them, but I was worried it would look a little stale after the fact that we've seen them fight so often recently. But I have to hand it to them, two things I never thought I would see happen:

(1) Benoit win: about 3 minutes before it ended, I actually started to think he just might, so kudos to both men for making me doubt Angle for even a minute.

(2) Benoit tap: I was convinced from the moment they signed this match that Angle would win (except for a fleeting moment...see above), but I thought there would be help from Benjamin or Haas, and for sure it would be a pin. Never did I think I would see Benoit tap to Angle. But for the sake of building Angle/Lesnar for Mania, it really was the best way to go...props to Benoit for being willing to do so.

As for Pump/HHH, as much as I liked seeing HHH getting thrown around the ring like a ragdoll, Steiner still sucks in the ring. I know they've never really performed together, but how familiar do you have to be to know that HHH uses a neck breaker? What the fuck was Steiner doing with that bump he took? He is so awful in the ring anymore, and considering he's worse on the mic, his signing will prove to be a collosal waste of time & money.

Credit to the participants of the Rumble, itself...even though we all knew Lesnar would win, they still managed to make it enjoyable. Especially Jericho, for doing a hell of a job after taking a misplaced kendo shot to the eye socket.

Havent i been telling people this for ages, wwe sucks compared to the older stuff, what happened to those ppvs when they would actually show at least someones breasts. Those were the days.

I thought the rumble was a solid PPV.

Dudelyz vs. Lance/Regal was a good match. The Angle/Benoit match was spectacular and I think it beats out their match from Unforgiven. The Rumble was nice, so the only thing to complain about was Scott Steiner vs. HHH. I think the only move Steiner has in his vault is that damn belly to belly, and it sucks. That match was garbage and the fans knew it.

for a moment i really really thought jericho might pull it off...i really hoped he would but what else is new the guy whos amazing on the mic has good in ring skills and has put years into the company and what happens....HE GETS THROWN OUT BY TEST! not lesnar not even booker fuckin t he gets thrown out by test who only gets over because of his girlfriend, that made me fuckin sick.

i hope so. and i really hope he does jerhico a favor by jobbin it. this guy needs that push back to the upper deck of contenders. Hes solid on the Mic, and right now i cant say i enjoy another heel on RAW other than jericho, hes just the best one on the show in my opinion.
