Just read on 1wrestling.com that Hulk Hogan was Stephanies bombshell and he was in attendance. apparently the crowd went nuts for him and he will be a good guy for one last run. here is the article:

Great, just what the company needs to pll it out of the rut it's in, another run of HulkaMania. Here comes the WrestleMania we've all been waiting for, where every match is deemed a Main Event:

Lesnar vs. Angle (the only match worth watching on the card)
Austin vs. Goldberg (the match you've waited so long to see, you really couldn't care less anymore)
Hogan vs. Rock (hey, it worked before, let's do it again)
HHH vs. whoever...we're so tired of him, it doesn't matter anymore, all we need to know is he won't drop his title unless it's HBK or a three-way match where he doesn't have to get pinned to lose.

"Oh my God, King, this has been the greatest WrestleMania I have personally ever been a part of....at least since last year!"

Just seems like the next logical step for WWE. I have a feeling that this is going to be an "all-star" WrestleMania, if for no other reason than they're out of ideas for new stories/angles.

The only thing WCW could do to save WWE would be to reform (if it wasn't owned by Vinny Mac). The only way to revive this company is to give it some competition & take some of its' talent & force it to use the rest of the roster.

I thought we were done with Hogan. How many more slow, bad, boring matches can he have. I hope to god he doesn't get into the title picture. Because I'll be damned if I see Hogan take the belt away from Kurt.

I wouldn't worry about that...God almighty, I hope we don't have to worry about that...hopefully it'll just be a nice, short run to WrestleMania, followed by a clean win over a cheating Rock (to get Rock over as a full heel), and a ride off into the sunset. And I'll pay for the horse he ride off on.

The only time I've EVER liked Hogan was the first little while of the nWo. The pre-produced skits trashing the Horsemen, etc. were fucking great. In fact, that's exactly what brought me back to wrestling. But when the nWo got up around 7 members, and showed no signs of stopping, I kept watching but was already sick of Hogan again. And I haven't been able to stomach him since.

Well there you have it, Smackdown! will start to fall downhill with RAW once again, god when will the WWE writers realize its not about the gimmicks or the people as big as it was before, WE WANT TO SEE GOOD MATCHES!

Hmm. This is interesting.

I don't think they'll put Hogan with the Rock again. They may. Hogan MAY be the backup plan if they can't sign Goldberg to a deal, but I think that in all likelihood, Goldberg will eventually sign and that at Wrestlemania we'll see a face Goldberg vs. a heel Rock (they pretty much have to turn Rock heel at this point).

I still think that Mania will be Hogan vs. Vince, but anyone who can predict the WWE at this point is a fucking mindreader.

You might be right about Goldberg vs. Rock...I just figured that since he (Hogan) punches Vince in the face after being back for 5 minutes, that match would take place sooner rather than later, like at noWAYout.

Plus, I see them getting more miles out of Goldberg if he faces Austin because they can hype the similarities in appearance, etc. And let's not forget, the WWE is FAR from above calling a do-over on an angle we've already seen & hoped was done (see HHH/HBK pt.2, pt.3, etc.). Especially with the amount of feedback they got out of Hogan/Rock.

Just a thought, though.

I believe that Hogan will face Vince at No Way Out, stay till Mania, and given a tribute to a "retiring legend." All I can wait for is when they make Benoit champ, hopefully at No Way Out in a return match and then facing defending the title from Lesnar, and winning.
