Anyone catch the UPN-9 News Story on Taz?

As I've said before, the shows are so dull, I never watch anymore. I tape them & replay them in 30 minutes to save myself the boredom.

Tonight it bit me in the ass, because the whores at UPN-9 ran their weekly wrestling story, and as usual, they teased it for 35 minutes. Naturally, I looked up from the computer at 10:30pm, and hit stop around 10:34pm, so I missed it.

Did anyone happen to catch the piece? They were teasing his "shocking" words on a possible return to the ring and something about what he "hates to hear from his fans." I can only assume they were referring to the idea that just about no one thinks he'll ever be a convincing ring presence again.

If anyone can fill me in, it would be appreciated.

No, but I saw the one on Tazz.

The thing he hates hearing is people asking him when he's getting back in the ring.
And I guess it's shocking that he's happy being a commentator and doesn't want to wrestle anymore. But he has spinal injurys that really won't let him wrestle anymore so that is neither surprising or shocking to me.

That's pretty much what I figured. Oh, well, just had a glimmer of hope for a return, but I'm not shocked that those were his words.

I can't stand that extra Z either. But it does symbolize he difference between ECW "Most miserable son of a bitch on the planet" TAZ and WWE "Sports Entertainer/Commentator 'Look at Dawn; Look at Al', bikini contest hosting" TAZZ

I always thought his shoulder surgeries was the reason....but I was first pissed when he said in an interview "I don't have the heart to do it anymore..." WTF is that!!!!

I heard it was the old neck/spinal stuff so I just say spinal. At least he knows that he can't compete at the level he wants to and calls it quits, unlike some people he may have woked with in ECW when they came back from Japan who wrestled for a title this weekend with less flexibility then that 1400 pound Hebranko guy.

Him missing that Double Underhook suplex on sunday pretty much put the nail in the coffin of his credibility.

But he has plenty of catch phrases so that makes up for everything else, right?

And he didn't know his opponent well enough to anticipate one of his signature transitional moves, the neck-breaker & the bump he took looked awful & out of place.

But he looks really good with those sunglasses on inside the building...so I'm thinking, definitely Main Eventer!

Uh... yeah, I'd say that definitely solidified him as an overrated, living-in-a-memory kinda character. Once he's gone, man I hope they don't bring his ass back. <P>
