Im sure we have talked about ECW moments before but its great to bring it back up Only real fans like the smarts on this board appreciate the ECW wrestlers who eat crap in the WWE.Shouldnt Dreamer have been up for that award for Tell me I didnt just see that with all the crap he ate and drink he should be used better so should everybody else The Dudleys punked out by Regal and Storm?,Raven and Justin released?Steven Richards exiled to Heat, but thank god B2 is back, thank god A-train has a spot, thank god we see Chris mother Fn Newinsky every week.God I hate somwe stuff that goes on.

My top ECW moment was when I met Tommy Dreamer. He is from Yonkers,ny...just like me and I ran into him...he's a cool guy actually.

But as for show's best moments...had one of the many times Tommy Dreamer poundrove Bullah McGulicuty and her skirt would flop down and you'd see that hot ass. Nice!

Dudleys get NO love from me. I can't stand them.

But I dig Dreamer & Richards, and I'm glad they're getting at least some exposure in the WWE.

Kudos to Dreamer, especially, for marrying Beulah. Must be nice to come home to that p.o.a. ;)

i really believe that tommy dreamer should not be a mockery, its bullshit. richards should have been ravens lackey like always and maybe that would have benifitted them both, put Dreamer...Dreamer was the heart of ECW and when you saw him doing those stupid fucking spots, thats when i knew the dream Paul Heyman once had was dead in the water. Vince stole attitude from ECW and im sick and tired of seeing stars i saw work sweat and bleed for this buisness get shit on because of guys like the rock, HHH, and that washed up no good prune hogan. until we get something fresh im gonna stick to NWA and OVW, LONG LIVE E C DUB

To say the WW(F)E has turned most, if not all, former EC-dub wrestlers into absolute whore would be an understatement. Just look at Taz. Now here's a man who's being punished because he isn't 12 inches taller, yet he could suplex any other wrestler on the roster with ease. He makes the suplex look good, and it's a shame he's limited to announcing. Raven is another one. I can't believe they let him go. I mean, the man is great on the stick...if they can't find a spot for him to wrestle, at least let him manage. It bothers me that Raven gets cut and A-Train gets pushed. They are dropping the ball with RVD. How is it that The Dudleys are the ONLY ECW wrestlers that were ever able to get a decent push in the WWE???

my favorite moments were going to the live shows and listening to the Dudley's do there 20-30 minute intro with Joel Gertner. it was great at the Elks Lodge. nothing i've been to has compared.

the biggest title change i saw live was Bam Bam Bigelow beating Shane Douglas...both members of the Triple Threat before hand. it was Rick Rudes surprise.

i miss ECW

well i already did my rant so im going to give my favorite ECW moment, it happend in the first every Stairway to Hell match between Sabu and the Sandman, earlier in the match Sandman breaks sabus jaw, but rather than the match be cut he decides hed rather continue and then proceeds to have bill alfonso TAPE HIS JAW SHUT, i was so dumbfounded and amazed that i couldnt fully appreciate it then, but with what im seeing now i can. ugh.

There are too many great moments to list just one favorite, but I can name the funniest one I remember. It was a Dudleys angle with New Jack & a partner I can't remember. It might have been the angle where Mustafah turned out to be the one paying the Dudleys to take out New Jack.

The only vivid part of the night was the very end. With all the Dudleys bloodied & on their asses at ringside, New Jack got his hands on Gertner. I think he took a guitar to the head, possibly a crutch. But he wound up on a table when New Jack disappeared into the crowd. He showed up in the balcony, and promptly put Joel through the table. A great spot in its' own, but the funny part was hearing Joey Styles scream at the top of his lungs, "JOEL GETNER'S DEAD, JOEL GETNER'S DEAD, JOEL GETNER'S DEAD!"

Cactus Jack and Funk in the ring getting covered in chairs.

'Taz is dead! Taz is dead!' Crowd chant after Taz suplexed Bam Bam off the entrance ramp at the first Asbury PPV.

Too 'Gold' Scorpio laying someone, Jesus I forget who I wanna say Mikey Whipreck but I don't think so, on top of a flaming table to execute the dis that don't miss. After he does it, the opponent's shirt catches on fire and apparently this isn't a good thing. Scorpio gets off the opponent, helps put him out, and the two of them raise hands in the middle of the ring. A show of brotherhood and solidarity between the boys. Joey Styles, calling the match, says something along the lines of "Who says there's no sportsmanship in ECW?" or words to that effect. As soon as he finshes saying that, Too Cold, turns to his opponent and nails him with a vicious, vicious clothesline, and pins the still smoking son of a bitch. Absolutely classic moment.

One of my favorite matches of all time has to be Jerry Lynn vs RVD at the ECW Arena (I think it was in September of 1999). The entire arena was so sure that it was finally Lynn's turn to win the TV title. Absolutely phenomenal.

I also loved the Dudleys' Public Enemy impresonation from House Party '99, and pretty much any moment involving the Blue World Order.

Gee there were so many of them and I was lucky enough to see a bunch in person:
- Some drunk fan hit me in the face at a Queens show and a security guard named Butch came over to help me
- Down in Florida for the summer 97 PPV Sandman gave me and my buddy a ride and told us trash on some of the workers. At that show Bam Bam Bigelow threw a bloody Spike Dudley into our section without any plants to catch him. We carried him around a little bit and a dude I've seen at many shows took some of Spike's blood home with him on a towel.
- Seeing New Jack leap in front of my section at least 3 times at shows in the Elks Lodge
- Being at Wrestlepalooza 97 for Dreamer's first pin over Raven and seeing Saturn tear it up after returning from his ACL injury on the same show
- Attending a stacked card in White Plains with RVD/Lynn, Tajiri/Super Crazy, and Awesome/Tanaka
- Rob Van Damn telling me to get out of the way so he could hit a moonsault off the guardrail and Rick Rude telling me to get out of the way so that I didn't get hit on the recoil of a garbage can shot on the same show. I always got in the way when I'm in the front row.
- Attending the last ECW show in the Elks Lodge when the Dudleys and Taz returned and Buh Buh proved he's the best talker in the business when he's allowed to talk trash
- Paul Heyman told one of my friends to "shut the f up" when he interrupted an interview and the whole Lodge broke out in those chants
- the fbi
- getting styrofoam head

I don't have a sig.

another of my faves is the tv title match between jerry lynn and rvd where rvd finally lost the belt, but this was a landmark considering how long he had held it, not like now where a guy loses the belt for a night just to get it back.

RVD didn't drop the TV TItle to Jerry Lynn. He handed it over to Cyrus while on crutches. A tournament ensued, and Super Crazy won over the "network's" hand-picked favorite, Rhino.

RVD did lose to Jerry Lynn, due to outside help, after returning from his injury...when neither one of them held a belt.

If I'm wrong here, someone please correct me, but I'm pretty sure. (I'm a huge RVD mark, so I might have just blacked out the memory.)

In the match I was talking about, RVD won, but for most of the match it looked like Jerry was finally going to get the title. I was (and still am) a huge Jerry Lynn mark, and I was going nuts every time the ref made a two count. Come to think of it, that was probably the last time I was totally into a wrestling match.
