According to 1wrsteling.com:

Say good-bye to Barry "B2" Buchanan, who was just cut by the WWE. He previously wrestled as part of the Truth Commission, and in Right to Censor as Bull Buchanan.

My feeling is NWA-TNA would be wise to pick this guy up. He's got size (something desperately lacking in NWA-TNA) and pretty good agility. While I don't consider him very good in the ring right now, he has some potential. He could make an impact right away if Russo uses him right.

Not a big loss.

I hope the WWE continues to dump guys they don't plan on using.

True, not a loss for WWE, but it might be a gain for NWA and Bull if he's pushed right. One man's crap is oftentimes another man's caviar (OK, a little too strong a comparison considering it's Bull Buchanan, but you get the idea).

Speaking as an NWA fan, I hope to God they don't sign Bull.

But he'll probably debut Wednesday.

On the plus side, if they do sign him, he'll instantly be better than the Road Dogg, but then again.....EVERYONE's better than the Road Dogg.

Bull has been saddled with lame gimmicks since the Right to Censor. It was only a matter of time because that whole debacle was career suicide for a lot of people. After it tanked Ivory went to tough enough, Val became Bischoff's butt buddy and The Godfather got fired and L'il Stevie became Mr. Victoria. NO ONE fared well in the wake of the RTC. They could use a decent big man in TNA. And Bull is decent.

Well, it's good to see that size alone isn't enough to keep your job. Yes, he was thrust into some lame gimmicks, but I have to think the reasoning behind it was that he was terrible on the mic, so he always had to be paired with a mouthpiece.

Either way it's no loss. Now if they would just come to their senses about D'Lo before he ruins another careeer with his sloppy-ass ring ability (he dropped Hurricane on his head tonight), they would take a huge step in the right direction.

Speaking as an NWA fan, I hope to God they don't sign Bull.Agreed. Bull is nothing special on the mic or in the ring.

If he does make it into NWA/TNA they can regimmickize him as part of the New Church or maybe as part of a tag team.

Please don't destroy S.E.X. with him in it. We already have Road Dogg and the Harris Brothers. Three duds don't make a right.

Actually, Redd Dawg is supposed to be pretty good, at least according to WWE. Jim Cornette is really high on him, and I personally trust his judgment more than most others in WWE.

I don't think WWE could do much with Bull, since he's not distinctive enough from anyone else they have. But I do think his size and agility could make him stand out in TNA, which is why I could see him being useful there. Just because someone isn't a great worker doesn't mean they can't be used to draw money. It's all about how they're used, and Bull has a look that can stand out among the crowd of smaller guys in TNA, IMO.

Well, WWe also believes that A-Train is the future of wrestling, and that it's completely Edge's fault that their feud garnered little interest and produced subpar matches.

Yep, WWe knows everything.

I personally though it rather odd that they fired Buchanon within days of him getting over for the first time in nearly 6 years with WWE...

I don't like to blame HHH for everything....

....oh, wait, I DO like to do that....

...but anyway, really. It makes you wonder.

You have Edge, young, talented wrestler, gaining in popularity with the fans, who's been putting on good matches with some of the WWE's best wrestlers....And Edge coincidentally has long, blonde-hair....makes you wonder if maybe another certain long, blonde-haired wrestler-who's-fucking-the-boss'-daughter got a little jealous.

Talent...Bull Buchanan...ok, sure.

I forgot why I was even replying here. I was actually going to dispute something se7en said, I think. I'll get to it...

OK, I remember now.

Edge didn't carry Albert to good matches. Edge gets depushed.

As much as that is BS, do you expect less of McMahon? Stop caring about his product, and you won't be pissed off by it. Just amused, like I am!

It's AMUSING how awful he's made wrestling in America. Have fun with it. Look at the silly marks. Laugh. I know I do...

(OK, that was all cover for how depressing it is...don't tell anyone)

It's true that the Edge/Albert matches were for SHIT but it was fucking hysterical on the PPV when they had Edge just beat on Alber with the chair like he was LAPD. Albert's punishment for sucking SO much ass? Probably not. but if it is let's hope it's not his last.
