I'm not being negative.
I say we focus on a more positive
outlook somewhere else.
Obviously WNEW and Infinity are
no longer worth out collective spit
content.
Support each other and our
friends in the radio business that
give a shit about their listeners.
I can't help but sound
depressed.. . Infinity etc are like
that girlfriend you bought a new
car for and then you found her
humping someone else in the
back seat. Cut her off... cut her

Unfortunatly I used to think fans matter but not in Radio. A station would rather go lower than 29 in the ratings as long as they don't have any controversy or trouble. The exects have no clue that loyal listeners can be loyal customers for advertising. Who would want to stay on a statin that has a format that three more stations have???

Nothing will work with WNEW they are done with Ron and Fez and won't bring them back. There are only two alternatives. build a groundswell through SU (like O&A did to get them syndicated. Or write letters to every ppotential station that might flip formats.

As for WNEW. Sadattay I'm done with that station forever.

Call it a Pavlovian Response, but at 10am and 7pm I hit the 'NEW preset and "Cry me a River" is playing. Rat bastards sure know how to play me. Right now, thanks to RnF(and OnA) I'm sitting at a brand new Gateway, which writes letters to Infinity much better than the old IBM Selectric, and gets better radio reception than my JVC reciever. With a little time I'm sure my posts will improve,also.

I know exactly how you feel..I keep hitting the button and all I hear is that same old crap that every other station is playing.I keep hoping that the next time I tune in I'll hear what I'm hoping for.Radio stations' SUCK!!
