What the hell is up with this kid? He's been looking really strung out for months now. He's been really sloppy in the ring, and even his spots, which used to be sparkling, have no kick to them. Look at how sunken in his eyes are! I used to think it was a gimmick, but now I'm not sure(that sleeve he always wears around one arm doesn't help either) . He needs rehab and he needs it fast before he goes the way of Marty Gianetty.

At the very least, I think the kid's manic depressive (and even that's not much of a ''least,'' sometimes the mental stuff can screw you up more than any drug could). Whatever his hang-up might be, it needs an intervention before he ends up hurting someone else in the ring.

Yes

He is

on heroin

Hopefully he can rebound from what are apparently "burn-out" problems or he will be Marty Janetty Jr., even though Matt is hardly Shawny Micheals

The WWE's line is that Jeff suffers from "chronic fatigue syndrome".

It's a fact that Jeff suffers from chronic depression. I don't know if it's manic.

The speculation - and I believe it to be true - is that he's on *something*. My bet is painkillers, but it could be something else.

It is rather interesting, in a morbid sort of way, to watch as Matt Hardy gets better each and every week as his brother literally disintegrates before our eyes.

It seems to me that he is on a sort of drug, but most likely for his condition. But if he does suffer from a condition I don't think its fair to shoot him down.

We don't know whats going on with him and what problems he's having. Jeff is one of the few WWE wrestlers that will do ANYTHING to entertain the fans. He's done some crazy shit and put on some great matches. I'm really interested to see his progression as a heel.

I agree with TheKnicks23. We don't know what could be going on with Jeff and frankly, it makes no sense to speculate and start rumors. *IF* (and its a big if) there is something up with Jeff then those who are around him and support him should step in and help him out. Even if its pure burnout. I've never thought there was a drug issue. Jeff's just always been... odd.

Now if it was someone like Angle who is naturally an excitable personality and then suddenly changes, I would see and understand where you guys are coming from.

don't get me wrong. i've always been a fan of both the Hardys (though I always thought Matt was the bright star of the bunch). I am worried about Jeff because I want to see return to the way he was.

Peachy brings up a good point about Manic-depression. I am also manic-depressive, and alot of what Jeff does in and out of the ring, reminds me of how I act when I'm going through a swing.

as for chronic fatigue syndrome: that's really a catch-all. everyone can claim that they have that because no one really knows how to diagnose it except by its symptoms. the wwe is hiding something.

I'm surprised they haven't made it into a story arc for Jeff.

Between you, me, and Jeff, we could start our own support group.

And as far as no story arc surrounding this weird behavior... wait.
