D&M Just Talked To R&F's future...

They say that Ron and Fez might broadcast from NY for the mean time. Don said that whoever is in charge is talking bullshit to R&F having a hard time finding a studio, even though they have hundreds of studios they can broadcast from. They said they might be on tonight, but they are having glitches in the studio and the stream to D.C. WJFK Program Director said if they are not on live today, they will by tomorrow. Also, the PD said they will come down to D.C. next week. He said Ron doesn't want to come down to D.C. right now because he wanted to wait for his son to graduate from High School. Either way, appearantly, there are no plans for Ron And Fez to air in NY, even if they broadcast from there. Pretty dumb. Don said they have the 1010Wins studio right above the WNEW studios they could broadcast from.

Finally , The Great ones have come back to Washington D.C.!

Also don and mike tried to get ron and fez a studio for tonight, but it did happen, screw management. I'm sure that rnf will be on tomorrow and that don and mike will support them once again. Like them or not they are helping ron and fez build a listener base in VA and MD so lay off them for the time being.

DandM also have said that if rnf agreed to play certin music for into and out of breaks, like o and a used to, they would definately be on Wysp, good news.

I don't listen to D&M b/c I am in New York. But all it takes is a listening ear over the past few years to know that R&F can still broadcast from NYC. Remember for example that O&A and D&M used to broadcast from the NEW studios at the exact same time! How? There are 3 studios in 888 7th!!
From what I've heard from people I know in DC, D&M have been doing a great job supporting our boys down there. We can't really complain about them as far as that goes.
Apparently, Don stuck his neck out in pushing R&F from the 11-3 tape slot to the 7-11 live slot....
So, of course he wants them to succeed.

I never had anything against D&M, even through that whole O&A shit, but if they could've kept R&F in NYC by simply allowing their show to be aired here and didn't, that really blows and makes Don a total pussy!

On 2nd thought, there's no way it's true. They wouldn't have offered it to D&M, and D&M never would've refused it. Besides, the WNEW execs they were refering to are no longer with the company, having been fired over the whole sex-for-sam thing.

Here's why: O and A were and are still respected talent in NYC, while D and M sucked ass. Getting backing from D and M is like Tampa Bay getting backing from the Cinncy Bengals in the NFL. D and M back them bc it brings a smidgeon of comedy and life to their shit show.

Firstly, the respective shows obviously don't have the same fan base. I still don't understand how anyone who likes R & F could find the likes of D/M remotely ammusing. My hypothesis is that of a "Comedy Threshold". The D/M fans have a very low comedy threshold, while Leykis fans are simply brain-dead.

I tried to listen as a fan of talk radio, but I'd much rather be pissed off by Rush Limbaugh, and that is going too far to find entertainment.
