I LOVE the new WNEW!!!

Today I was driving home and decided to lighten up the afternoon with the lovely sounds of radio.

After flipping to 102.7 (as I ritually do to catch "Tom Leykis", the man who redefines insight.) Much to my surprise, my rotund friend in radio was nowhere to be found, but I decided to stay anyway and give it a listen.

In my display of an open mind, I found myself thoroughly enjoying WNEW's latest stroke of brilliance. I don't know if any of you have heard of an underground band called "The Lincoln Park", but they produced a song "In the End." I don't know where these fine young men came from, but I predict big things for "The Lincoln Park." Now just imagine, I never in a million years would have heard this song on the radio had it not been for WNEW and its infinite foresight.

Needless to say, when I finally arrived home, I stayed in my driveway and said "More John Mayer please!" Kudos to WNEW. I heartily applaud your decision to smack innovation in the face. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to catch up on the 40 greatest songs in our great nation!

Do keep listening. They also play music by a Christina something-or-other (very fetching young lady) and some band-aided chap named Nelly (a girl's name?) who seems to be hot even though he's hardly wearing clothes.

A vast improvement over that straight/gay weirdo duo. I never did get that whole deal.

I sware on all that is holy IF I HEAR PUDDLE OF MUDD ONE MORE TIME, IM AM GOING TO WNEW AND KICKING ALL THEIR ASSES. I'm sure we've all heard by now that WNEW is supposedly switching in a week or two to Adult Album Alternative or something like that. Here's a link about a station in the Hampton's that already has the format. Mostly irrelevant crap but some stuff toward the bottom about what artists we can expect.
