1. Elliot Segal is going to be the new morning guy on WNEW. He will play music... it will not be a straight ahead talk show.

2. In a general sense, the music you now hear on WNEW is sort of what the station will evolve into (NOT exactly so please
don't start incorrectly quoting me). Not necessarily a straight ahead CHR, but a station that leans toward female tilted
pop/rock/AAA. Some combination of all that... at least that's the best I can determine.

3. Ken Stevens and Jeremy Coleman are still employed by Infinity but their future is unclear.

4. O&A are NOT going back on the air with Infinity (so forget WXRK) but the company will pay out their contracts to keep
them off elsewhere. Clearly there is concern they may come back to threaten Stern on a competing station. Translated
that means they're being paid to do nothing for the next year and a half.

For now, this is what I'm hearing so I'm passing it on to those who are interested.

Stay tuned.

Yes, he is hung like a horse. One female porn star describes having sex with Johneewadd as like giving birth.

It would be shrewd of Infinity to fire Ken Stevens and Jeremy Coleman so they WILL go to a competitor and F that up like they did with NEW.

Thats a long time!

HOLY SHIT!

No way of them ending up somewhere else? Another city? Goodness!

How long of a span was it in between WAAB and WNEW for O & A? Just wondering.

#4 - You guys think it's possible for O&A, should they feel it necessary to get on the air sooner than in mid-2004 (due to interested companies or what-not), to take Infinity to court and become "free agents"? I'm just wondering because I don't exactly know if they can wait that long (let alone us). Yea, the money's nice...but I'm sure that type of deal has happened before, where the player says "screw this, I want to play" and pulls something out of his legal sleeve (and has it worked?).

by the time the courts settle the dispute it will take a year or so anyway. you know how the courts could drag on.

True. And Infinity would be sure about this. A case could end quickly with a settlement, but why do that when it'll be bad for business? Even if they would pay them less than they currently have to...they wouldn't. Goddamn stubborn corporate whores! (I've been trying to hold back my "anti-Infinity" feelings, but goddamn it. This is horrible! Need some good talk radio...)
