HORDE KING, Why does my radio suck ass lately?

It's not so much that I'm missing Ron&Fez lately, but it just seems like I'm tired of hearing the same bullshit music day-after-day-after-day. I'm about to rip my stereo out of my car and throw it out my sunroof!!!

Is it me, or are others feeling the same way?

OH HELL YEAH (sorry, still had caps on from the WNEW thread)

I used to like the Red Hot Chili Peppers alot. Until fucking K-Rock decided it would be fantastic to play them 20 fucking times an hour. And I am pretty convinced Q104 burned a CD with about 16 tired classic rock songs and just pressed "random".

And to top it off, my refuge from the above mentioned garbage is gone.

Just motivation to get a new car with a CD player I guess.

You do know that new CD players can be purchased for most cars for less that 200 dollars right?

I haven't turned on WNEW since I last turned it off at 7:01 on 1/27. It's Monsters of the Midday and a 12 disc changer for me.

If you're a fan of conspiracy theories, you might go for this explanation. Music radio sucks, so the major record companies can lure us into stores to buy their overpriced products. (Or at least lure us onto Kazaa to download a decent mix CD, instead of getting an entire album with just one good song on it)

I agree, I just took a sledgehammer to my radio, since I will very likely not need it anymore. ;( <P> The silence is a relief from the vast wasteland NYC radio has become. <P> I miss Ron - the Pimp extraordinare. I miss Fez, and his crazy, yet truthful sounding voice. I miss all the girls. They all sounded like so much fun. I EVEN miss The Orange Ball of Failure. but not that much <P> <P>
