Is that the boys make a move
back to NYC when their
contracts run out. I could see
them being succesful on an AM
station in ny, either WABC,
WOR or even WFAN.I could be
wrong but the idea of FM is
not going to be hot for
awhile, now that wnew is
history.It might mean a
little change in style, but
theboys are pros and we know
they can succeed whe

AM is pretty much the norm for talk shows I think. I know lickass is based on an AM station and he is nationally syndicated. The only viable FM options in NY are probably KROCK 92.3 and Q104.3, but AM is probably the best bet the way things are now.

Also if they do well in dc maybe the infinity people will syndicate them to nyc.
or is that just wishful thinking?

I sincerely hope you are right!I miss them sadly and want them back SOMEWHERE!!!!!Just keep those letters and emails and stuff coming, and never give up!!Ron and Fez WILL be back, and O and A ALWAYS win in the end!!!

AM is an option, but i honestly doubt they would ever or could ever be put on WFAN. That is what i am forced to listen to now, and usually did during the times Ron and Fez were not on, and let's just say that greatness that is Ron and Fez, does not fit into their sports radio. Sure they may know the Bucs, and i would love to have them replace Mike and the maddog, or sid and Mac, but it won't ever happen.

Dont let your feelings about
Mike and The madddog make you
think they are not
succesful.Even with their
success though, wfan would not
survive without Imus in the
morning and his national
syndacation. Most of the other
broadcasters on that show RnF
are heads and shoulders
above.And dont forget Fezzie's
knowledge of wrestling, which
I bet carries over to other
sports.Ronnie??? that boy
would do good whe

I don't think the K-Rock scenario is a totally dead one. I'm sure Infinity has some capacity to see what they have, as they have kept Ron and Fez:

1. Out of WNEW Drive time when there were no better options

2. Under contract and away from the NY open market

I don't know their contract status, but I'm sure the number one stip to them resiging is a NY clearance. Remember, you can't sip champagne and go back to Thunderbird. They have proved they can make it in the hardest place to make it, and one way or the other, will be back. I like O and A, and I miss them, but their program doesn't compare to Ron and Fez, nor does Howard's of today. Stern 86-92 would be their only rival. They shall rise again. That is my best hope.

I dont think think NY radio,
when WNEW was flying full
speed, will ever be as good
as it was( for people our age
And taste) in the last couple
of years.Stern is living on
past hype from 86-92, and is
now the hollywood icon he used
to despise.WNEW with RnF, OnA,
Eddie Trunk and even the Chick
should have been a bigger
success. But the Two captains
of the ship went full steam
into the iceberg
