I know, but the thing is, that is PAID programming. They BUY airtime and therefore they are entitled to it until the contracts run out.

this should inspire a new wave of phone calls on two fronts:

1. to the snake oil salesmen pitching their garbage. Call them, and say you'll buy if Ron and Fez get back on the air. Sure you'll only confuse some hapless operator in Duluth, but maybe the message will filter up the chain.

2. Infinity. I was tolerant of their situation, SOMETHING had to be done with NEW, it's too big an investment to get college station ratings. But this is a fucking slap in the face to all of us. Especially considering they didn't give them a Monday goodbye/superbowl show. I called to get them back on before, now I'm calling because I"m pissed off. That's total Infinity bullshit.

I don't know how reasonable this sounds in reality but heres an idea.

Create a presentation that would express the tremendously loyal following Ron & Fez have to past advertisers and to potential advertisers. Have THEM sign a petition that a show with such dedicated fans is valuable to advertisers. Present this to a station in New York, preferably one outside of Infinity which has already shown they can't properly market them and sell the potential of what bringing Ron & Fez back to New York will do for their bottom line.

Radio is a business and money talks. I think the tremendously hardcore following R&F have can speak for itself.
