"F" the critics, cynics and "playahs". You've written what MANY of us (NOT saying ALL, but MANY) guys have thought so many times... myself included, not two hours ago.

I spent the majority of the night "people watching"... OK, "women watching"... watching who they "responded to", etc., and mostly, who they "ended up with"... and that's what I kept thinking.. they "ENDED UP" with "someone"... "ANYONE" it seemed! "That GUY", the one who most resembled what they'd envisioned in their mind when they decided to go out for the night.. and the truth is, I'm not "that guy".

I was the one sitting on the bar stool shooting in the 8-Ball league play, mostly keeping to myself and drinking quietly enjoying the music and the games, still wearing the company shirt and jeans after just getting off working in the field...

...the one who might buy you a beer if you happen by, or if he catches your eye, but isn't prone to approaching a group of people to single you out. The one that didn't come out "dressed to impress", or put on a front.



F-IT, I'm too f'ed up to have any answers tonight, but I totally concur bohdday, and here's to us finding chickees that "get" what you wrote!
