I agree..I too have to say that the DC must step up on the show front. The show is deff missing the greased gears if you will.
Something must be done..ill go think now.....get on it!

I agree that the show does'nt seam as lively without New York area fans, but give Ron and Fez a chance to recover from the shock of the whole thing. I can hear it a little in their voices. It is bound to get better as they settle into DC.
dc is going to have to step up

You may need to step back a bit and reason through this. The show is still in a new time slot. So, listeners are still trying to get aquainted with their style and format. Also--as others have said--they are in a major adjustment period. Time will heal the breach.

As well, you may be suffering from the: "there is no way DC listeners are going to be better than NYC listeners." It is perfectly natural to view the NYC show as a better quality show with fatser, sharper callers. Afterall, that includes you. And--I think--we are apt to give ourselves kudos for what we do in comparison to others.

im sure the DC listeners will be fine, they just need time to learn the shows running jokes.

Do they even accept callers from NYC anymore?? Or are they like this is a DC show...cant talk to u no more. I never hear the usual characters call anymore...which may make it less funny. Also no Instant Feeback...and no girls!!

They were never on middays for JFK. They had the 11:00 pm shift (or some slight variation on that) until they took over the Sports Junkies' evening shift a few months ago.

Give them a chance guys. R and F seemed a little depressed the first couple of days, can you blame them. If you lived in NYC, would you want to be forced to relocate to DC? Also, I heard they are not letting through the NY callers as much to give the DC callers a chance to work on their chops. If they were letting us through, we'd have big phone bills for sure unless we can use that same dixie cups and longass string to call JFK. They are having some people in the DC area come in Tuesday night when they get down there in the JFK studios. Maybe they can start establishing some DC regulars. It'll be like bizarro world for a while, sob. The Billy AA hour has been very funny three nights running. He was talking about Baby Jesus and the holy spirit being a bird and Ronnie was playing bird sound effects to mock him out. Those callers need to get funny faster though, this is painful. I was on chat during Friday nights show and the NY callers were making a comedy pyramid at the same time DC callers were trying somewhat lamely to make one of their own. It was about Mikey D's new band with the 16 year old orthodox twins doing an Alice in chains thing (according to Mikey anyway). The NY people were wickedly funny as usual. It wouldv'e been great if we could have at least sent them our pyramid through instant feedback. This is so frustrating. Did you send your letters today? Shake it up!

from the FAQ: - Where can I find an Internet Stream of the Ron and Fez Show? Infinity Broadcasting prohibits it's programs from being broadcast via the web. Infinity actively shuts down and prosecutes any rebroadcast or pirate stream of the show. That being said, pirate streams do exist and many members of RonFez.net do use them. BUT, to post the addresses on this board would be asking to shut them down. Nobody wants that.

So, if you are looking for a stream, we suggest you become an active member of the board, gain the trust of members that seem like they use the pirate streams and try to covertly ask them for the stream. Getting an internet stream is much like buying crack, in more ways than one.

Any post asking for streams will be deleted by the moderators.

The boys have still not gotten into a groove of being in their own studio, not being able to say goodbye to everyone in NY.
There are only a few people from DC that call that are regulars.
Give them some time. Tonight is the first time in a while that they are really rolling with a topic that is somewhat upbeat.
Thank you Ron and Fez for finally being live in DC again.
Ok let's get the boys back live in NY. Don't give up the fight.

i was kind of predicting this would happen. It may take DC a bit to catch on but remember, the DC metro area has a lot of intelligent people. some of them have to be funny. over time they'll come out of the woodwork. you will however have to put up with the good old fashioned white trash that certain areas around here seem overrun with.
Copulate... don't populate.

I agree in general that the DC callers have to get a little sharper, but I thought a lot of the band names being called in were pretty funny. I think the DC'ers did good on that bit. I know I laughed at a few of them and it did seem like R&F and Mikey liked what they were hearing. What we really have to hope for is that the regular (unfunny hick) callers that call Don & Mike do NOT become callers of R&F. If that happens, we are in big trouble ...... :( :( :(
