I Have A Nice Short Wave Radio. Does WJFK Broadcast On A Shortwave Station or Can I Pick Them Up?

I don't think so. If I'm wrong then somebody correct me but I think short wave radios can pick up stations far away like in Europe because those stations are broadcast on very low frequencies which can travel farther. Fm stations broadcast on a high frequency. Either way a local station (106.7 Lite FM) broadcasts on the same frequency as WJFK so you would have to be closer to the DC area than the NY area. <P>

you are correct. FM, AM and Shortwave all have different allocations on the Radio Wave spectrum, theres no way to pick up the station on any demodulation radio wave receiver other than FM.
