ron&fez at kazaa

I had just downoaded ron&fez jan. 31 show.
when i listen to it, it sound like 2 robot taking.
is there a way to make it sound normal?

I still am not able to download that show. I guess Kazaa works different on each computer.

That really squashed/swirling sound on R&F's voices can not be undone. This happens because the person who originally converted it into an MP3 used an extremely low bit-rate in an effort to save space on his (and our) computer. When audio is heavily compressed to save space, the quality really suffers.

Unfortunately, you can't 'un-squish" once it's been compressed.

Try using an audio-cleaning program to take all hiss out. The voices will still be swirling, but at least they'll be isolated.

I've had the good luck of grabbing the show off the USENET. The newsgroup is alt.binaries.opie-and-anthony . I get the newsgroup feed from optonline.net and teranews.com.

Yeah, the genius posting the shows has decided to use a type of phaser effect on the audio. For the life of me I can't figure out why, sounds like total friggin crap.

I pretty much have copies of all the shows, old and new. I'm only on dsl, but if u want me to upload ONE specific show to you, I can do it.
