This is ridiculous. Almost every person that posts in a thread disregards the title. "FAVORITE" mob movie. The whole point of "FAVORITE" is forcing the participant to choose. Including several movies in your post is defeating the purpose.

Example: I'm a huge fan of Godfather II & Goodfellas. Now I am asked to make a choice (which is the point!).

Recently, I enjoyed "Road to Perdition" very much because it featured Irish mob. It isn't up there with the best mob movie ever but it's very good.

5) A Bronx Tale - and if you thought the movie was good, you should've caught Chazz' one man play of the same name... I've yet to see anything like it.

4) Bugsy - this is often overlooked, but really is a great mob movie.

3) Goodfellas - Great flick, if only the last 1/3rd of the movie was as good as the first 2/3rds.

2) Godfather 2 - Simply flawless, best sequel ever.

1) Godfather - Not just the best mob movie ever, but perhaps the best movie ever. With the exception of an obvious pulled punch when Sonny is beating up his brother-in-law, it's the perfect flick.
