LEGAL EMERGENCY!! PLEASE HELP!!!

If there are any board members who are lawyers or work for them, I have a friend with a problem. He wants his anonymity preserved, so I am posting this in his stead.
I'm not clear on all the details, but a law firm has frozen his bank account without a court order and claimed that they had the right to do so. This has left him in a somewhat dire situation. He's getting the run-around and frustration contacting legal advice on his own, and asked me to post this for him. If you can help, or know of anyone who can email, IM, or RF Mail me and I'll let him know, or he is an active member so just post a contact in this thread and he can contact you. i would imagine the police can tell your friend if it is legal to freeze assets without a court order.
