That reminds me of a joke D&M pulled on sportscaster Rudy Martsky. He was a regular on the show, and they had been hanging with him and referring to his significant other in gender-ambiguous ways, leading listeners to think he might be gay.

One day when he was on they accused him of having something against another sportscaster, whose name was Dick. Rudy, nice guy that he is, denied it and emphatically stated "I LOVE DICK!"

Of course the production staff got busy on a "gay and proud" spot featuring that statement. He was good-natured about being "outed" but hasn't been on the D&M show much since then.
