that is very annoying... but i've done this once or twice myself. sometimes, you really do mean to be back quickly, and then you get tied up with one thing or another and take a while... if someone does it to you constantly, though, that's a problem

i have to say i use BRB sometimes, but thats if i have to quickly do something, if i know i'm going to be away for more then 10 mins, i say I'll be back asap or even say i'll be back in about a 1/2 hr. at least i'm courtious
