I have a budday from work who asks me for advice concerning his relationship with his fiancee. Now he has been in many relationshps where i've only been in one. Why does he come to me a rookie for advice? boardmembers comment?

Maybe he likes you. I mean, likes you likes you. All that relationship talk is a code for the relationship he wants with you.
Think about it, it makes sense.
Man, I'm a funny guy.

He probably wants to vent, and wants any opinion he can get.

Men know nothing about women. No matter how many they've been with and for how long. Any insight is always helpful.
