My new girlfriend asked me the other day what I thought was my purpose in life was. She told me my answer is very important to her.....what should I tell her, I dont mean to sound ignorant, but I do know how to express this to her....HELP!

Mad Pax - I'd ask your gf why she wants to know what your "purpose in life" is. Is she expressing some insecurity? Is she looking to see if you're relationship minded or family oriented? Is she having questions of religious or philisophical ideas that she wants to talk about?

The better you know what concerns her the better you're able to respond effectively.

Under no circumstances lie. It does a great disservice to both of you.

She meant it as a religious question, she was reading in the bible, 2 Timothy I believe she wanted to know what I felt God's purpose for me was, she just worded it wrong.
