I hope they don't go this direction as making fun of a disability is definitly NOT COOL! I was hoping if anything theyt could bring him back as one of the HORRID characters he was in the past. Remember the "phantom cowboy" thing from WCW that got built up and built up then he flew to the ring and complained about the whole thing? That was a funny bit.

I'm guessing they are heading into "There's Something About Mary" territory of bad taste here,

if anyone remembers how well he pulled off the "Artist Formerly Known As Goldust" Phase they did for a while, this may actually be funny for once.

I think if everyone keeps a level head about it, it's worth a shot..It may be no worse than the old "Stutterin' Buh-Buh" gimmick.

That is unless they make him a stuttering person with Tourettes who has a necrophelia fetish...

C'mon, we all know that from a "wrestling" standpoint, this has trainwreck written all over it, but from a comedy standpoint, if it stands ANY chance to succeed, i'm glad they have given it to someone that actually might be able to pull it off.

I'm all for good wrestling, but occasionally you do need some "goofy" to fufill the "E" in WWE and hopefully attract the mainstream viewers.

Will it work? probably not, but at least they chose a guy that can have some fun with it in the meantime.

Truthfully, it's no worse than some one attacking someone in a hospital and violating them rectally with a IV tube, but the fans seemed to eat that up well enough when it happened.

His entire existence in the WWE is as the weekly 'comic relief' segment. He'll never get a true push, unless it's with someone else push-worthy (like his short tag title run with Booker).

As long as he doesn't jump into a casket with a doll & his segments don't last more than 5 minutes, I'll just take him for what he is...entertainment. Not every segment is a home run, but he's got a better batting average than almost anyone on the show right now.

When I read this, I laughed. Yes, it could be controversial but it doesn't seem so bad. Now if they were going to make him a paraplegic, I could understand the issue. It sounds like they already had that planned out. Goldie did say, "The Doctors said i would be ok if i talk my medicine." So maybe what they'll do if this gimmick fails, is have it seem like he is always medicated, hence no outbursts like tonight.
