what the fuck does everyone think. Ofcourse Howard isn't the same. After 20 + years no one could expect anyone to be the same. Everyone gets old, thats a painfully fucking truth of life. Who in Howards position would want to support a rival talk radio show even if they were employed by the same company. Howard doesn't want his sponsers to leave his show because it means less money for him. Is everyone stupid. This fucking world runs on MONEY.
Yes, his not as funny as he used to be. Yes, his got big fuckin ego. Yes, his a hypocrite. But can you blame the guy. Every goddamn person on this planet is fucking selfish. That is human nature. Howard is trying to be the only guy. And it was Howard (not Imus) who was responsible for the popularity of that kind of talk radio. O & A took it a bit better. Just like the laws of nature there will always be the new, young, strong lion that nocks off the old king lion. Don't blame Howard for shit. He is human. Bottom line, MONEY is why Howard is the way that he is and every single fucking person on this planet has a price.

Rules are made to be broken and twisted. This is also true for literature. The greatest writers in history have broken the rules of grammar, spelling and syntax. That's what has made them great writers. The English we speak, write, and read today is not the same English a hundred years ago. I was hoping people would comment or criticize on the CONTENT of what I wrote and not the grammar or spelling. I'm now convinced that the act of reading COMPREHENSION is dead. (I blame the education system).

PS. You can read every book in the world that doesn't make you smart or a good writer.

O&A did a bit that got them taken off the air.

Without it's most successful show there was no way WNEW could support the talk format. Morning Sports never worked, Leykis failed on the station once, and Even though Ron & Fez were great, playing the same show twice in 24 hours would at best split the audience. Near the end WNEW as a whole was getting worse ratings then it did when it was switching from Classic Rock to talk.

And as far as K-Rock goes, they really have no reason to bring Ron and Fez in right now. People forget that about 10 years ago Krock was also classic rock and they changed the format to appeal to Stern's target audience. And it's been moderately succesful. The only thing that would merrit them putting Ron and Fez on was if what is currently on was tanking and R&F could provide a better rating. And if they did go to K-rock and had to play music, would you really only like to hear them if they only got to talk 15 minutes an hour? It wouldn't be the same show. Just go ask the Chick.

And hopefuly Stern will be gone in 3 years. I haven't listened in about 4 years and I turned it on yesterday and remembered why.

Never liked Hemingway.
What does Stern getting old have to do with anything? Give you an example. When Metallica changed their music all the hard core fans hated them and called them sell outs. Personally, I prefer to listen to their older hard metal albums but I'm not going to shit on Metallica because time and age changed their style of music.

Your right O&A made WNEW and R&F couldn't do it alone. R&F was the only good show that's why they were on twice a day.
I think KROCK will never put a second talk show because of Stern.
