<b>Shameless Plug</b>
OK'd by Alice S. Fuzzybutt
& Jersey Rich

Main Man Records has put together a Kiss Tribute CD featuring <a href="http://www.diggerphelps.net">Digger Phelps'</a> rendition of "C'Mon And Love Me" (as heard on the Ron & Fez Show) along with a shitload of other bands including <a href="http://www.thedonnas.com">The Donnas</a>. It's just out this week and can be found at <a href="http://www.vvinyl.com">Vintage Vinyl</a> in Woodbridge, NJ, and at all <a href="http://www.cdworld.com">CD World</a> locations throughout NJ.

The CD is being featured all this week on <a href="http://www.wrat.com">The RAT's</a> "Jersey Rocks" program at 8:30pm.

To celebrate it's release there will be a CD Release Party at <a href="http://www.donhills.com">Don Hill's</a> in NYC on February 24th. <a href="http://www.diggerphelps.net">Digger Phelps</a> will be performing as well as The Atomic Bitchwax, Frankenstein 3000, Mars Needs Women, George Is Dead, Hat Trick Of Misery, All Boro Kings and many more. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door the day of the show. If you're interested but still aren't quite convinced, we'd like to sweeten the pot a bit and offer you a free copy of the CD if you buy a ticket to the show from us. Just <a href="mailto:diggerphelpsmail@yahoo.com?subject=Kiss This Tickets" + "&body=">email us</a> and we'll make arrangements. Otherwise you could be paying $5 more to get in and not getting a free CD. What's the point in that?

Congratulations on getting a track on the disc, and kick some ass at the party! Sounds like a good time, so I'm gonna check my schedule and see what I can do about attending.

Break a leg boys!

ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION!!!

PLEASE COME SEE MY BAND DIGGER PHELPS PLAY AT DON HILL'S ON MONDAY 2/24.

As Gringo pointed out, we will be playing the CD release for "Kiss This". It's gonna be pretty badass. When I spoke to Eddie Trunk on Saturday, he was also making tentative plans to attend. And to sweeten the pot a little more, a <a href=http://www.math.gatech.edu/~pelesko/spade.gif>VERY</a> <a href=http://www.stereoscopy.com/reel3d/free.gif>SPECIAL</a> <a href=http://www.leejeans.com/images/home/small_logo.gif>GUEST</a> is rumored to make an appearance.

I know there's plenty of you who have no trouble making it out on a weeknight to a bar. So, if you want to hear some original music by some great bands, and some KISS songs thrown in there, you should join us for a night of fun.

Besides, you never know who is <a href=http://www.math.gatech.edu/~pelesko/spade.gif>GONNA</a> <a href=http://www.stereoscopy.com/reel3d/free.gif>BE</a> <a href=http://www.leejeans.com/images/home/small_logo.gif>THERE</a> .

So C'mon and love us...

I mean...

See us!

Kick some butt at Don Hill's, and I'll see ya at The Saint if you do that one too. I wish I could have played, but I got no band right now.

I've heard alot of the CD, so if you're a Kiss fan, pick one up. I'm sure you'll enjoy......especially the cover of "I Stole Your Love" by none other than Spank Daddy ( what a shameful plug, I'm such a tool ).

Well he was only THE most revolutionary Jew's Harp player in the world. He tried to be in KISS, but he refused to wear the make-up.

Thanks, Fuzzypants.

Without giving too much away, there's a very good chance that one of Kiss' 37 guitarists will be there hanging out and he might just hop up on stage at the end of the night for the "All Star Jam".

Here's a hint: It's <i>not</i> Ms. Fuzzypants' twice-removed cousin-in-law Bruce Kulick (cuz his name don't rhyme with <i>Grace Wheelie</i>).

Also, those kings of Stoner Rock <b>Atomic Bitchwax</b> (featuring Ed Mundell from Monstar Magnet) have reunited just for this show.

If all that ain't enough, come see me play drums in no less than 4 bands (and the rumored "All Star Jam" with Ace- oops).

I fear I've said too much.

PM me or Skidmark if you wanna come and we'll set ya up.

Ms. Fuzzypants' twice-removed cousin-in-law Bruce Kulick

you probably know!

Bruce has been playing with the former drummer and bass player of Grand Funk Railroad, and they are touring as Grand Funk Railroad...

I always thought it to be slightly strange for a KISS guitarist to want to play for a band like Grand Funk...

Both great bands but just different...

Just a reminder that the show is this Monday night. You know the snow will be gone by then. Hell, Spring is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than hanging out Downtown and rockin' out to some classic Kiss tunes?

OK, that made little (if any) sense, but so what?

ACE FREHLEY IS (probably) GONNA BE THERE! OK, I SAID IT! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?! AND I'M GONNA BE PLAYING WITH HIM (if he shows).

So please, if you live in (or near) NYC, come by.

Personally I'm pretty stoked. I'm playing in 4 of the bands that night (I have a problem saying "No"), so playing no less than 4 Kiss tunes, plus the idea of celebrating and paying tribute to one of my all-time favorite bands... yea, it's gonna be a good night.

Add to that the very good possibility of Ace Frehley being there and being there in time to see my "main" band, Digger Phelps... that too is enough to get me pretty jazzed.

Then, the fact that if Ace shows and agrees to do a song or two at the end of the evening... might be too much to handle. I can honestly say that if I was to lose a limb on my way home that night, I'd be perfectly satisfied with my music "career".

Of course, I'd be able to join Def Leppard then.

Or at least be in a very authentic Def Leppard cover band.

So once again, people... that's A Tribute To KISS - Monday night, February 24th - Don Hill's NYC (on the corner of Greenwich and Spring) - show starts at 7 (I'm playing with the first band) and going until whenever. No matter what time you get there you'll be sure to catch a great band, whether it be Digger Phelps, Mars Needs Women, Frankenstein 3000 or Stag (the 4 bands I'm playing with), or The Atomic Bitchwax, The Youth Ahead, All Boro Kings or George Is Dead.

Eddie Trunk has expressed interest in attending, Dave Wyndorf from Monster Magnet might drop in for an acoustic set and there's a very, very good chance that Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley will be there, hanging out (he will not be appearing as a performer, but with enough encouragement (i.e. BEER) he might be willing to jam with us late into the evening.

If you make it down, approach one of us and let us know you came to check us out and we'll give you a copy of the Kiss This CD (24 Kiss classics performed by everyone from The Donnas to Shawn Mars the one man band).

WoW! This sounds awesome! I'm a huge KISS fan!

Will Ace be in make-up? Will Dave Wyndorf be wearing platform shoes? Will Batman and Robin get out of this trap?

I guess I'll just have to be there tomorrow to find out.

Thanks a lot Funkman for the concern, and to anyone else who asked.

For the record, a good time was had by all.

So good a time, I barely remember playing our set. But I'm told we were pretty good.

The point is, we had fun, saw some good live music, and we're helping to keep the terrorists from winning, one rock show at a time.
