Super Size Meals

Can anyone explain to me WHY the supersize drinks are so fucking big? I mean, usually when a person supersizes he's only doing it for himself so he can get the larger fries (which make sense). I mean, why don't they just make a larger sandwich? Who thought making the coke fifteen times larger than your average large coke justifies calling a value meal supersized? First of all, the human bladder cannot process that much liquid in a single sitting IN ADDITION TO the super size fries and sandwich. It just doesn't happen. So it seems to be there's a shitload of wasted beverage just being thrown out, which overtime accumulates to several hundred gallons of coke. It just seem like such a waste to me. Why don't they just make the large fries the size of a supersized fries and do a way with the whole "supersizing" of a meal, as the entire meal isn't supersized anyway.

It just pisses me off because i have like a fucking gallon of root beer in my car right now and I just feel horrible throwing it all out. I may just keep it as a pet or something.

Not only do I order the "largest Diet soda you have,no ice" , if it's available ,I'll refill before I leave. Empty, Giant cups are quite liberating in traffic jams.

If I supersize I get something like root beer so I can bring it home and continue to drink even if it's warm.

I can't drink warm watered down cola or sprite. But root beer keeps.

my uncle and i invented/rigged up a device that is one fits all....its ugly as hell but so effective....if i had to describe it i would say that it is like 4 plastic prongs that fan out to adjust to the size of the cup

I've been drinking a supersize orange drink that I left in my car for 3 days now. Its cold out so I'm supposing it hasn't gone bad.

OR - I get supersized hawaain punch, drink half - then take the other half home and fill the cup with vodka and have a yummy drink.

see, i'm the exact oppposite, as I supersize FOR the bigger drink. I need that big old mop bucket sized drink, they can keep the Fries as far as i'm concerned.

But if you try to buy a Burger and a Large Drink, it ends up costing more than a meal, so i end up with 2 pounds of greasy fries that i eat maybe 1 or 2 handfuls of.

for me though, it's all about the drink.

As Letterman used to say frequently "There is not a man, woman or child alive that doesn't love a frosty beverage."

but yeah they are so fuckign ridiculous, i wish they had that size when i was a kid and could eat all that garbage. i used to have to get the 2 cheeseburger meal cause it was the only one that filled me up, but now if i get a medium big mac meal i'm ready to throw up.

there's no need for it to be so big, but at least it's keeping america big fat pigs cause damn do we need that.

Remember when McDonalds had that Regular, Meduim or Super Size deal on their menu? I always got the Medium meal. It was perfect. A little more drink and a few more fries for when the regular meal wasn't gonna fill me up.
