getting total geek-boy goosebumps at how great this is looking so far.

Hardly any footage from the first trailer either.

I was pissed because my print of DareDevil didnt have this attached, and i saw a grainy wmv version this weekend that i couldn't study like the zapruder film.

now that the major players have been established, i'm looking forward to seeing the x-men cut loose.

Very, very, very fucking cool!! I do not have a bad word to say. Nightcrawler looks absolutely phenomenal, the brief glimpse of Colossus (never a fave of mine) was cool, Stryker looks suitably badasss, as does Pyro, the shit with Kitty going through the bed was cool. Bryan Singer looks like he's really done the job again. I, for one, can't wait.

I have a simple question for the Xmen fans. (keep in mind that I was not an X-fan as a kid)

In the first Xmen movie.... why was Rogue so important to Magneto? If all he wanted was her abililty to steal other mutants powers, couldn't he have just used Mystique to empower his machine?
I mean... he was already associated with her (Mystique). Why go through all that trouble of battling the Xmen and the Professor?

Mystique is a metamorph or shapeshifter...she cannot take the abilities of those she mimics.

Mystique can only copy the way someone looks... plus Magneto almost killed himself using the machine, so he probably wouldn't have wanted to kill one of his best soldiers by making them use the thing.
