Help! I need a new TV Show

From my point of view there hasn't been one great sitcom on since Seinfeld. I want to get into a new one, very bad. "8 rules for dating my teenage daughter"? what the hell is that? Im looking for a comedy sitcom, I know '24' and 'CSI' are suppose to be good, but I want a laugh. My TV has to end at 8, because thats when the Simpsons-Friends-Seinfeld block ends. Wrestling (on Monday at least) is a complete failure. When is the new Survivor coming out, I might go for that. I stopped watching after the 2nd season...anyone who saw the last few, where they any good? I need sugesstions!

I say stick to Comedy Central, History, Food Network, Cartoon Network and a new station that best fits your political views. (FOX News for me.)

Other than that, get another hobby to fill your time because TV will just let you down again and again.

I work nights so I don't get to see much other than sports, but from what I've seen of Bernie Mac, that's probably a good show to get into.

As weird as this sounds, I've really been digging the Road Rules/Real World Challenge thing on Mondays at 10p. I didn't know it until now, but I really missed Puck.

Osbournes hasn't done anything for me. I watch wrestling from 9-11 Monday, and 8-10 Thursday. I dont like Jackass that much now since I have seen the BETTER CKY tapes. "Clone High" just isn't funny. Tech TV usually entertains me, but it's nothing that I am addicted to. King of The Hill is only on my TV when Im too lazy to change after Drew at 11:30, Curb your Enthusiasm won't happen because I ditched my HBO package after Sopranos ended. I do watch all the re runs of Seinfeld, but thats only on at 6.30 and 7:30. Guess Im just going to have to stick to the FOX and Superstation Comedy block, and watch Boy Meets World during the weekends.

I just started watching That 70's Show. I was always turned off because I just assumed it was a poorly written sitcom with references to the 70's but I was wrong. Very funny stuff. Check it out Wednesdays at 8 on Fox.

Also, Crank Yankers second season starts soon but not sure when. And the one episode of Chappelle's Show I saw was hilarious...Wednesdays at 10:30

I was thinking this same thing the other night Cosmo because TV just does suck.

This has become the age of REALITY TV and GAME show TV. More so reality beause there is such an oversaturation of it out there. Maybe I should check out the CBS Monday line uup because that sound like it ight appeal to me a bit. I still long for the days of Cheers, Night Court, Coach and other shows that would just make me LAUGH! What a concept!

The only sitcom I do watch religiously is COUPLING which is on PBS on the weekends or if you are lucky to have BBC America, it is on there. Funny stuff. Really really funny. The First season just came out on DVD and is at your local Entertainment Department store or video shop. NBC exec's thought this show was so good in fact that they bought it and this fall it will premiere on NBC TV. Think of Friends meets Seinfeld with some Cheers thrown in. Most of the stoprioes and situations are true also so I recommend that.

I have a hard time with CNN and FOX news because I want, well, the NEWS! Not some slanted spin on what is going on or WHAT could happen and wait MAYBE something HUGE is happening and we will cover it when it does. Shit like that. I WISH BBC News was available mor ebcause they give you the facts and THATS IT!
