i think russo is finding a good balance. it seems like he's going to devote the x-division to pure wrestling with simple storylines, and devote the tag and world title divisions to more of a storyline-based format, leading up to big pay-off matches. if tna proves that it can put out better storylines AND better wrestling, the wwe will have a company to contend with in about a year's time.

it looks like d-lo, justin credible, and mike awesome may be coming in soon too.

Maybe, much like WCW, they focus so much on the main events that they just send the cruiserweights and under-carders out there to wing it and the matches are great in spite of the company. While the planned stuff might fall flat (I only saw them 2 weeks ago with the Millitary riot thing and it sucked) a lot of their roster is fresh off the indies and can stage a match with little preperation.

Without a tv deal, I don't see it lasting another year.

the "operation s.e.x." angle looked goofy because the show went off the air early. they showed the footage the following week, which made the whole op sex thing make sense. they basically gave jeff jarrett the absolute worst whipping with leather belts that i have ever seen on a wrestling program. his back was literally lacerated in multiple place from the belt.

when i watched that episode i felt the same thing, until i saw last week's show. it was awesome. i definitely urge you to give it another chance. the s.e.x. vs. tradition storyline has actually been handled very well, besides the operation sex angle.

Was it worse than the Piper coconut and belt incident against Snuka on Piper's Pit back in the 80's. That looked like a real ass whuppin.

A belt whipping wasn't good enough pay off for 25 minutes of confussion.

But I wish The Rock and Roll express all the luck in the world.

And I don't understand how they could pick up the S.A.T. and there is no intrest in Da' Hit Squad.
