Just was wondering how long everyone has been watching wrestling. I started watching around 84-85 when hogan first won the WWF Title.

I started watching it more and more when i came across the old NWA World Championship Wrestling on TBS. Remember the old tv studio that they wrestled in? I used to call it basement wrestling cause it looked like they were wrestling in a dark basement, but those were some good shows. Too bad there is only WWE on tv now. Occasionally i will order the NWA TNA Pay per views but back in the 80s you had alot more options. There was also AWA and World Class from Texas which used to be on ESPN

May 1988(When i was born)-May 2002

It was a fun trip, but you grow up and stop watching things like wrestling. Plus, It's so damn difficult to say "WWE" after 14 years of saying "WWF."

as far as i can remember i was always a casual fan. until the day taker tombstoned hogan on the steel shair. that moment the undertaker became my favorite wrestler and wrestling was one thing i could not live without. i stopped watching right after bret got screwed at mania 12. and i started watching again at mania 2000. but then wrestling went down the crapper once the 'invasion' occured. so ill watch it still but ill never make it a point to watch unless its rumble, mania, KOR, summer slam, or survivor series.

I started when the undertaker first arrived. I loved how he combated hulkamania.Ric flair also helped establish my love for wrestling

Since 1984. I was flipping channels one Saturday morning, when I saw hulk Hogan walking down the aisle getting ready to dethrone the Iron Sheik for the WWF title. I recognized him from Rocky 3. I have been hooked ever since.

I think it was Summerslam of '88 or '89 (whichever one had Roddy Piper versus Mr. Perfect) that i started watching and ever since i've been watching religiously

Late 1985 to mid-1991, then again around 1994 to the present. I first started watching wrestling when Saturday morning cartoons were pre-empted one weekend.

I've been a non-stop fan since before Wrestlemania 2. I know I used to watch it all the time with my grandfather before that, but that's the first big thing I can remember.

My first live wrestling event was at the Johnny Rodz wrestlng school when I was in the 5th grade. The most memorable thing about that show was that the Wrestler that became Damien Demento got involved in a fight in the crowd that went past the men's room as my father was coming out and he shoved my dad into a row of chairs. My father complained about that for 3 years.

My first WWF show was at the Westchester County Center in 6th grade. Best match was Bret/Perfect for the IC title but the main event was Collosal Connection (Andre/Haku) vs. Hillbilly Jim and Duggan. At least I got to see Andre once in my life.

First MSG WWF show was the first Raw they ever had there. The one with the 3 faces of Foley interview, the "return" of Cactus Jack against HHH, and the first time Austin stunned Vince.

First ECW show was up at the Orange County fair grounds in 1995 during a storm (Outdoor show). That's the night I saw the greatest match I've ever seen live. Malenko/Gurrero. This was their second to last event before leaving for WCW and nothing before or after has ever topped it. This was also the Steiner Brothers' return from japan. They wrestled Vampire Warrior and Dudley Dudley. Man I miss the Steiners, whatever happened to them?

I know you didn't ask for all of this information, but I'm really bored and have nothing better to do.

When I was 6 years old I remember watching WWF 'Saturday Night' my dad would tape them for me so I could watch in morning / also remember WrestleMania 1 my dad rented it on BETA , I was such a geek crying because I thought Hulk Hogan would lose during his matches. Got away during 92-early 96 because to busy out in high school but the whole NWO thing got me interested .

I remember watching it a bit back in the late 80s...the WWF....but I was still young then, and I didn't remember much of it.

I didn't get really hardcore into being a fan until 1992. The Dangerous Alliance angle in WCW sold me. Nothing beat watching Sting, Steamboat, and Koloff go to war against Rude, Anderson, Austin and the rest.

Even though the first thing I ever saw was the Piper Snuka coconut incident I didn't become a fan until like my fifth grade year which was like 86/87

I have been a fan since late '85. I remember watching one of the WWF syndicated shows on CH9 when they showed Savage pinning Santana for the I-C belt. The summer of '86 was the best. You had all the WWF shows on TV and then you had Mid South/UWF, NWA, World Class, and California Championship all on U68.

I'll never forget my first show. It was in '86 at Lehman HS in the Bronx. It was a WWF show but it was mostly jobbers on it. The main event was rookie Paul Roma ( subbing for Tony Atlas) & Pedro Morales vs The Moondogs.
