I am a week late on this topic. I watched the "Married...With Children reunion show last Sunday and forgot what a great and funny show this was. Some of my favorite memories are-
-When Bud screwed his cousins bride before her wedding. A very young Joey Lauren Adams of Chasing Amy fame.
-Anthrax trashing the Bundy house.
-The game show Al and Peg went on as Steve and Marcy. Al strapped to the electric chair at the end is classic.
-"Oh man we're broke. Cha cha cha.
Everybody flat broke. cha cha cha
Living in the gutter. cha cha cha
Early grave. cha cha cha
OK. Now everybody...Shoot Me!!!

One of my favorite lines, Al is talking to Peg cause she thinks he's cheating on her and Al says:
"Why go out for milk, when you have the cow at home?"
LOL that line stuck with me forever.

Two of my favorite moments of the show were:
1) When Al accidentally blew up the scoreboard that was dedicated to him and among the groups that claimed responsibility were "The National Organizaion for Women and the Government of France"
2) When they were at the car wash and Al told the guy to keep his hands off the CD player. When Peg reminded Al that there was no CD player, he said "Well we would have one if you hadn't said that". Total white trash moment at its best!

With no wife here, no kids there,
A hooker coming over every Friday night,
with big lucious hooters and a pizza and a beer
Old McBundy had a farm.....B-U-N-D-Y !!!!
One of the best comedy sitcoms of all time. A word of caution......don't buy the new DVD. It is so lame quality wise, with only 5 episodes. Not worth the price. Just wait until they start doing full seasons like other shows are, and enjoy the reruns for now.

I love it when Al either makes a speech or insult the large women [trying to be P.C.] that comes in the shoe store. Al Bundy was the best.
Favorite line:
Fat woman in the shoe store: Come on honey, let's go somewhere that they will treat us with respect.
Al Bundy: How about the moon you'll weight less there.

My favorite episodes were when Al and Steve try to kill a mouse and destoryed the house, and when Al and Jefferson tried to put together a workbench. Of course they were all good, but those two stand out.

Favorite part of the reunion was when they were talking about people coming up to them and asking them to do things. (i.e. Al putting his hand down his pants) and Christina Applegate said well all I usually get is "Show your Tits" Something I never thought I would hear on FOX

<font color=purple>The best episode has to be where Kelly is dating the Alderman and Al uses his new found power to become the neighborhood's Godfather.
The hottest looking girl to ever appear on the show is a toss up:
1) The blonde in the episode when they move into the supermarket.
2) The brunette who's trying on lingerie in the ep where Al goes shopping for Peggy's discontinued bra.
Meatball

My favorite episode was the Christmas special with Sam Kinison. So many funny lines in that one. actually they did great work with all their christmas specials - like when Al got locked out of marcys bank etc..

come on people, what about the aliens episode, where al socks were gonna be used for MIZZUZO (FUEL).
or
when al is going to build a new bathroom for himself. and the toilet was "THE FURGUSON." he called it the bowl of all bowls.
or
when al is going to install the satellite dish on his roof.
but my favorites are the "NO MA'AM" episodes. especially when al becomes reverend al. my favorite lines in that espisode:
AL: Archimedes take her (marcy) down.
Marcy: take him down Dot.
Dot and Archimedes meet in the center of the stage.
Archimedes: damn...you a lot of woman.
Dot: i'm a lot of everything.
Dot begins to push Archimedes back in the direction he came from.

1) vanna white...she was so hot in that episode
2) Jessica Lang...the really hot one that wanted al and was in their house behind al and peg in a trench coat when they were sitting on the couch and she got al's attention by opening the coat and showing her lovely lingerie outfit then she walked up the stairs telling al to come meet her....drool

Like "The Simpsons", that show could have just gone on forever and I would still be watching it. According to "The E! True Hollywood Story", Fox cancelled it when a new regime came in, even though it was still getting good ratings.
The thing that saved "The Simpsons" was Fox was (and is) making so much money on the merchandising.

And the Simpsons do not have to deal with age and other outside influences....i don't know that MWC would still be something that Applegate would be interested in doing...luckily for us the Simpsons do not age, but when they do it gets voted as the worst Simpsons episode ever

one of my favorite episodes was when Al's Dodge had 999,999 miles on it, the next moring the rep from dodge was coming with a prize, so Al slept in the car to protect it. He fell asleep and put the car in drive and it rolled over the million mark and in turn resetting the odomiter to 000,000. the show ended with Al driving across country

I do think that the show lost a little something when Jefferson replaced Steve.
are you high, they (al and jefferson) complemented each other very well.
for example:
when jefferson went to cuba to get a new gas pump for al's dodge.
or
when al and the NO MA'AM'ers went to congress to try and get Psycho Dad back on tv. jefferson's code name bullwinkle. of course he lost the fight.
don't get me wrong steve was just as funny because they were polar opposites. but did you notice that when the years went by, steve started to become like al a little.

Yes, I am necroing this thread.
TBS has been showing this show non-stop late night. I remember loving thsi show when I was younger, and goddamn it is still hilarious. Some of the funniest show writing for every character on the show. It seems like everyone has their time in the spotlight per episode.
Al Bundy is a God, and has some of the best facial reactions to situations. So great.

This show was classic. I like how they would cast Traci Lords and other porn stars in bit parts..

That episode had one of the greatest soliloquies EVER:
You think I'm a loser? Because I have a stinking job that I hate, a family that doesn't respect me, and a whole city that curses the day I was born? Well, that may mean loser to you, but let me tell you something. Every day when I wake up in the morning, I know it's not going to get any better until I go back to sleep. So I get up. I have my watered-down Tang and my still-frozen Pop Tart. I get in my car with no gas, no upholstery, and six more payments. I fight honking traffic just for the privilege of putting cheap shoes onto the cloven hooves of people like you. I'll never play football like I wanted to. I'll never know the touch of a beautiful woman. And I'll never know the joy of driving through the city without a bag over my head. But I'm not a loser. Because, despite it all, me and every other guy who'll never be what they wanted to be, is out there, being what we don't want to be, forty hours a week, for life. And the fact that I haven't put a gun in my mouth, you pudding of a woman, makes me a winner!
The "It's A Wonderful Life" parody episode with Sam Kinison is one of the funniest fucking things I have ever seen.
