i woke up this morning well, what was morning to me and did my daily ruotine and all. When i went to get my Prozac it wasnt in its usual spot. I NEVER move it but i thought maybe when i was very sleepy i misplaced the bottle. I tore my room apart looking for them and then i thought that maybe someone took them. I asked my Dad and he said he didnt take them, but i know he doesnt like me on the and tells me so every chance he gets. The problem is im starting to get very anxious and i dont know what the hell i am supposed to do if someone stole them i cant replace them and it was a fresh prescription. I am so unbelieving of this i have no fucking idea as to what i am supposed to do.

this is my advice for what it's worth.
1.Calm down, if you panic and start accusing the wrong people it'll get you nowhere.
2.Keep Looking until tomorrow. Tommorrow, after you get back from school/whatever you do tomorrow. Call your doctor. Explain your situation to him/her, say that you lost your fresh bottle of pills. Doctors have confidentiality for you now that they didn't have before. Your dad can't see your medical records or even know of any conversations ever existed because you are 18. Say that you think that your dad is stealing your pills because he doesn't like you on it. I'm fairly sure that they'ld have heard this before, there's a good possibility that he'll give you an extra perscription.
3. Now is the hard part, you have to buy the medicine. I'm not completely sure how this works but if you charge it to your dad's insurance he might see what you did. So unfortunately there is a good chance that you will have to pay full price. Maybe there are organizations to help people in your situation, I don't know.
Whatever you do, I hope it works out.

GRLNiN - This has potential to be a very serious problem and must be addressed immediately.
You just can't stop taking Prozac cold. It has to be cut back slowly. Otherwise you'll have all sorts of really nasty effects.
The medicine has to be replaced and you have to return to your regular routine of taking it.
An easy way to do this and not run into trouble with insurance is for your doctor to write you a script for 1/2 the dosage you were taking before and instruct you to take one pill in AM one in PM (So that total mg content is the same.) Another option is to get a script for double the dosage you were taking before and split the pill in half. As long as it's a different dossage you can get the same med even a day or two apart.
Regarding your dad, I suggest you tell him that you can have all sorts of very serious health issues if you stop the Prozac cold so that he should be on the "lookout" for them. Who knows they may mysteriously turn up. Stress that you'll be having real problems if you don't get back on it, b/c you can't stop it w/o slowly reducing the dosage over time.
Again, I stress the importance of getting the piills as soon as possible.
Of course, if you need to talk, please e-mail me.
