Wow. I really had high hopes for No Way Out. This was the first PPV since the whole invasion angle that I actually watched. So much hype went into this with the whole Goldberg thing. I was even really looking forward to Rhyno's return. But of course, nothing happened. The biggest thing of the night was a referee swerve by Vince.

Yawn. And they wonder why they are steadily losing viewers.

Lets go over the matches:

Starting with the Jericho/Hardy match. Now can someone tell me how just a year ago Chris Jericho was the first Undisputed Champion and now is opening a PPV against a horrible Jeff Hardy? Man...smell those ratings.

Next.... Kane/RVD vs Storm/Regal. What in the world are the writers thinking with this debacle? Kane chokeslamming RVD? Man everyone wants to see Kane vs RVD for the next month. Yawn.

Matt Hardy vs Kidman. Yuck. Why is Torrie not accompioning Kidman to the ring? At least he would get some crowd reaction. Now they hinted to how they would have Matt lose the title already. Gee I hope he can keep under the Cruiserweight to keep his title. Duh.

Big Show vs Undertaker. Better than what I expected. Especially Taker flying over the top rope onto Albert and Heyman. DIdn't come close to hitting the rope. Thats amazing. Too bad Show had to ruin it by f-ing up the chokeslam.

Triple H vs Steiner. Oh god please put us out of our misery. They hypes Steiner for so long and back to back PPV's he loses to Trips. When are they going to realize they are paying people way to much money to lose to Hunter.

Bischoff vs Austin. Back match of the night. I totally marked out when the glass broke. I pride myself on not being like that but it is damn good to see Austin back in a WWE ring.

Hogan vs Rock. Total Heel Rock. Horrible ending. Gee I wish Vince would get over that whole Screwing Bret thing. This is like the 5th time since 97 that he has used that to end a PPV.

Yawn I am going to sleep to dream aboot the old days of pro wrestling. When they actually made me want to spend money on Pay Per Views

Yes, there were some dumb plot twists but it was still a good PPV.

Y2J vs. Jeff was a great match. Sure Jericho should be main eventing, but it was still a great match.

Brock and Benoit vs. Team Angle was also great.

Seeing Taker fly over the top rope made that match good enough for me.

Matt vs. Kidman wasn't bad, neither was RVD/Kane vs. Regal/Storm.

Austin's return was killer.

Hogan vs. Rock 2 was good for what it was.

The only bad thing was.....Uhhhhhhh Scott Steiner vs. HHH. I've come to the decision that Steiner is worse than HHH. Yup, you hear it right. I fucking hate Steiner and hope he gets hit by a car.

So overall it was a good Pay Per View, probably the best in a few months.

I was going to defend this crap-per-view on the basis of STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! alone, but you hit it all right on the head. Just pathetic. I'm sure the entire Austin push and heat will be killed by next week. I don't know how something once so great, could now be so bad. I'm ready to check out TNA, at least they have some suprises and TRY!.

Didn't order it. I'd rather save my money for Wrestlemania, in the perhaps unwise hope that it will deliver this year.

I heard that Austin was looking a little pudgy, though. That true?

As for the Rock ending....what can I say? It's Canada - it's Montreal. Vince loves fucking over the crowd there.

Not pudgy at all se7en. Iwatched the replay based on pwtorch's comments, and thought he'd be fat, but his abs were cut and developed. As jacked as he's been since prior to Owen's piledriver. He looks as big as he did during the feud with Bret Hart. He looks great.

You know, I too thought that Austin was looking a bit pudgy around the love handles but was still cut in spots. He just looked a bit thicker. The Rock on the other hand, looks like he LOST some of his muscle tone and I remember him being bigger last time he was around. I like the PPV but Steiner's work rate is shit. HHH is going down a bit too but get him in there with The Book and THAT will be a good match. Undertaker and Big Show had the WORST match of the evening and possibly one of the worst I have seen in some time. Maybe this is why it took a few years for them to finally work together. Didn't they try a feud before and it just went nowhere?

My question is, why have an interview on smackdown where Nathan Jones hints at a feud with Taker, and not use to him get Show the win? Why use Albert? That fat useless piece of ape shit.

Decent PPV. I liked it.

Starting with the Jericho/Hardy match. Now can someone tell me how just a year ago Chris Jericho was the first Undisputed Champion and now is opening a PPV against a horrible Jeff Hardy? Man...smell those ratings.

This was a throw away match with a one night opponent who was thrown in there at the last minute as a punishment to Test. This match was just more hype for the HBK vs Jericho match at Wrestlemania. What is wrong with having the first match. That match is actually pretty important because it sets the pace for the entire evening and gets the crowd going.

Next.... Kane/RVD vs Storm/Regal. What in the world are the writers thinking with this debacle? Kane chokeslamming RVD? Man everyone wants to see Kane vs RVD for the next month. Yawn.

The match was decent. What is wrong with a RVD vs kane feud. RVD as a heel is gold. Who else should they be facing?

Matt Hardy vs Kidman. Yuck. Why is Torrie not accompioning Kidman to the ring? At least he would get some crowd reaction. Now they hinted to how they would have Matt lose the title already. Gee I hope he can keep under the Cruiserweight to keep his title. Duh.

This match was good and in STORYLINE, Torrie has nothing to do with Kidman. Matt Hardy will give the title a little more prestigous. Anyone else seeing a Matt hardy vs rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania.

Big Show vs Undertaker. Better than what I expected. Especially Taker flying over the top rope onto Albert and Heyman. DIdn't come close to hitting the rope. Thats amazing. Too bad Show had to ruin it by f-ing up the chokeslam.

This match was so/so. My least favorite of the night. Nice over the top rope dive, but why Albert? Get him the fuck off of my tv.

Triple H vs Steiner. Oh god please put us out of our misery. They hypes Steiner for so long and back to back PPV's he loses to Trips. When are they going to realize they are paying people way to much money to lose to Hunter.

This match was the most obvious of the night. No fucking way does Steiner win the belt. The guy is a mess and HHH is a legend compared to him. That would have been awful if Steiner won. Anyone see Steiner vs Batista coming?

5 man tag Team Angle vs Brock and Benoit

You forgot this one. What did you have a bathroom break. Great match. COntinues a great feud with Lesnar and Angle. Who the hell is Benoit going to face at Wrestlemania?

Bischoff vs Austin. Back match of the night. I totally marked out when the glass broke. I pride myself on not being like that but it is damn good to see Austin back in a WWE ring.

STONE COLD, STONE COLD, BY GODDAMNIT STONE COLD. This was great. A total ass whuppin.

Hogan vs Rock. Total Heel Rock. Horrible ending. Gee I wish Vince would get over that whole Screwing Bret thing. This is like the 5th time since 97 that he has used that to end a PPV.

It was in Montreal and it is called hype for the Hogan vs Vince match at Wrestlemania.

It is obvious that no matter what the WWE does, people like you will criticize everything they do. You should stop watching and stick your TNA, because I thought the PPV while not the best ever was definitly a big step forward to righting the company.

Test no-showed last monday night.

Aside from a few blown spots in the Jericho/Hardy match, and the whole HHH/Freak who was formerly a wrestler Steiner match for the fake championship, it was a really good show.

I've never been a rock fan, but the current presentation of his character is really doing it for me. This is how you play "Hollywood" smug instead of whatever Hogan did when he took the name. Even just the length of the new entrance video magnifys the ego. If they're smart, they introduce last nights ref as Rock's personal assistant tonight.

The Scorpion King vs. Mr. Nanny?

Helldorado vs Suburban Commando?

The Rock's 5 minutes in The Mummy Returns against all of No Holds Barred?

You decide.

Montreal Screwjob part Deux baby!! This PPV was on point almost all night. I NEVER liked Brock Lesnar but tonight he made himself (or maybe the people around him made him) look like a legit monster, and Benoit, Angle, Benjamin and Haas did like they always seem to do and I'm never disappointed. Hogan/Rock.....you mean there are people out there who still look to Hogan and the Rock for wrestling? It takes a special kind of stupid to keep looking for that. Rocky went over in grand fashion I marked out through the whole match. I won't go through the whole match list because there are already people defending the PPV. I was entertained throughout the night and I have nothing but good things to say about this PPV with the exception of The LAME and Steiner. Finally the Rock has come BACK!!...to being a heel. 2003 year of the Bhrama Bull holla atcha boy!

Okay, Hogan's 5 minute in Rocky 3 kill Rock's 5 minutes in The Scorpion King, but that was before Vince took Hulk Hogan and made him "Hulk Hogan". (It seemed so much cooler when Don Cheadle did it for the NFL)

The one stupid thing to me is that almost exactly a year ago the WWF had Hogan smash a Big Rig into an Ambulance with the Rock in it to Build heat for WMX8, but this year for the rematch the WWE have The Rock spit in Hogan's face and have everyone act more horrified at that then the vehicular assault.

No Way Out could have been more entertaining but I was into it for a while. The Jericho/Hardy match was cool. But after that, everything was secondary because I had my mind on Austin. I wanted to see the baddest sumbitch come out and just... set it off. So while I'm wondering how Matt Hardy's going to stay a Cruiserweight, I'm still like, "Okay. But Austin's coming out and he's gonna wake this PPV up."

So I hear the glass and I dropped to my floor. Yeah ya'll, I dropped. I'm expecting him to come out, whoop Bischoff's ass for two seconds, and then just start ragging on everyone from Rock to HHH to Vince to the man who gave him the wrong key to his hotel room... everyone. Then... that ended.

Then Rock comes out looking like Maven now and I'm just awestruck. "Who is this?" I ask myself. The match starts and its really silly. 'Course when I notice the ref is a little more bulked up than what normal refs look like, I start putting two and two together and I go, "Oh yeah. I smell a Vinnie Mac attack." And I was right.

All in all, the highlight of my night was Austin and... the snow that was falling outside of the Bell Centre. Yup.

It wasnt as horrible as I thought it would be, the return of Austin made it a lot better, the Team Angle vs. Benoit and Lesnar match was good, the Y2J vs. Jeff Hardy match was pretty good, and thats pretty much it...

HHH vs Steiner should have been the main event. The world title match should always be the last match of the night

Although your point that the title match should always main event is a good one...thank God they didn't use that line of thinking in this PPV. That would have been enuogh to leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth & make the whole PPV a letdown. HHH can't carry that piece of shit far enough to work an entertaining match, and as a main event it would have sucked, hardcore.

Did you see Kane drop Regal on his head?? Yikes!!

That was scary for a minute...but did anyone else think it was Regal's fault for not tucking his head. In the replay, it looked like he had his head back like he had been looking up, and I would imagine that's a big no-no. I hope he's ok, though.

I wouldn't say pudgy, but the little beer gut that he had was a little too much for his jean shorts so he had to take off his belt and unbutton then on the way up the ramp.

Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho: 7.5
I didn't think it was that bad, the match itself is where it deserved to be..an opener. Jeff shouldn't be in singles action AT ANY PPV and Jericho should be at Angle or Benoit level.

Kane & RVD vs. Storm & Regal: 6.5
The ending was HORRIBLE! RVD still unleashes his max. talent at PPV's and he deserves all he can get...A 7 for RVD

Matt Hardy vs. Billy Kidman: 5.5
C'MON KIDMAN! Matt acted like it was just any SD! match, and the fan reactions *cricket cricket* really brought it down.

Lesnar & Benoit vs. Team Angle: 8
All good wrestlers...putting on a well expected PPV match, 'nouf said. EXCEPT WHERE THE F IS THE MAN BEAST?

Taker vs. Big Show: 7.5
Definetly more than what I assumed. Taker really is great at PPV's...simple at that/

***I AM PURPOSELY SKIPPING HHH AND STEINER***

Austin vs. Bischoff: 10
Now I know it wasn't a match, nor was it even a competition, but when that glass shatters it gave me the chills down my spine, STUNNER! STUNNER! STUNNER!

Rock vs. Hogan: 5
What can ya say? Hogan is an old man, that can't do anything. Im glad to see Rock turning full heel, and from what the rumors say Im very glad to see a Rock Austin rivalry starting up tonight. WHOOAHH!

TOTAL SHOW:7
Some stuff impressed me, Austin was the biggest pop of the night. Steiner, A Train, and Show need to be thrown away.

Why was Test being punished?

Test and Stacie were both punished for being fucking idiots.

They were in the Baltimore area, and didn't choose to leave for RAW in Ohio until either Saturday or Sunday, which as you know was when the worst of the blizzard hit the East Coast. They got snowed in, and had to no-show RAW.

They were utter fucking morons, though, because the weather people were only predicting this blizzard a full WEEK in advance, so there was no excuse for them to not leave before it hit.

***

As for Austin.....I just find it unspeakably hilarious that Jim Ross was bad-mouthing Austin all he could back when the WWE was running their smear campaign, and yet I heard he was having orgasms gushing over Stone Cold's return last night.
