Anyone else been towed from Bar 9?! I know Paparazzi has, Jersey Kevin (we hung out at good ol 39th and 12th last week....) even our sweet Brother Joe!! Ill be the first to buy a drink for my good buddies who had to shell out the whopping $380 to get their cars and or trucks back....perhaps the start of a new tradition at Bar 9....buncha savages in this town.

I too can attest to this. There aint no worse feeling in the world tan leaving Bar 9...going to where your car used to be.....and then seeing NOTHING. Shit happened to me March of last year as a matter of fact. My car got towed all the way to fucking Red Hook, Brooklyn. Was the bggest pain in the ass to go and get it back.

Once that shit happens only thing ya can do is go back into the bat and just fuking drink till ya get shit faced....fuck it!!!

Yeah, but we can blame Pants for that one. That's what we get for smoking and trying to park....but it was an adventure :) And it didn't hurt that Alkey and Silera helped us get us back to Jersey.

I've had my car towed like 8 times in the city. Its no fun. Never at Bar 9 though.

There is parking on 8th Ave, like a 2 block walk, there are little meters there so you know you wont get towed - thats where I've been parking.

See, funny thing is, i usually DO park at the $11 lot....but saw an open spot, paralell parked between 2 other cars (obviously my fellow clubbers) and didnt even look. My fault, i know...but there are a few of us out there who live SO far out (upper Westchester) that there is no bus, no subway....and MTA doesnt run that late....so driving it is. It was that 1 time i didnt park in the lot, and i learned my lesson. For sure. Jersey Kevin, HOW happy was I to see you walk into that cold damp office?? Alkey....i think that is very good OBVIOUS advice. Thank you. Ans yes...the Chairman said he would have sweet talked my car back....but i really dont care, id pay a lot more to get my car back.....$380 was NOTHING compared to what i talked them down from. For this I am thankful....ALL im saying, is that ill buy a drink for my fellow club buddies. THATS it....just being a nice kid. Oh, and Alkey....you dont need to be in THE club, you know ill always put a few drinks for you and chickie on my tab...like i always do....every week......for Carona and Patrone Silver.....simply because i love you 2 up to the sky........Ill be there..with NESSA!!!!!!! I've never gotten my car towed but I've gotten 2 $100.00 tickets from parking near Bar 9. Fuck bloomberg hard. I've learned my lesson and I park in a garage right on 53rd on the left side, close to 9th Avenue for 13 bucks 'cuz I have an SUV. Fucks. Motherbitches.

Growing up, I went to music school on 54th street around the corner from bar 9 (right next to the sony hit factory). My mom parkered her car on the street and never gota ticket, but it got broken into twice; one time my viola was stolen (thank god not my violin!!!!). She started parking in the lot after that (a lot that is now a really big building. ahhh the good old days).
parking lots are the way to go. no hassle!
