SUNNY - Plants grow better when they have more carbon dioxide. I'm sure we all know that the air we breathe out has a much higher level of carbon dioxide than ordinary air. So when you talk to a plant you give it more carbon dioxide which encourages growth.

However, that's not the whole picture. Although the carbon dioxide in our breath is much higher than the surrounding air, it is still a miniscule ammount - at least to a plant. To have any real effect, you would have to talk to the plant for several hours each day.

Yes.

Human shit is an OK fertilizer, but urine is better as it contains more nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium; the major nutrients used in commercial fertilizer.

FEZBIAN - Urine applied ON plants will kill them. Urine applied to the soil around plants is a good fertilizer although many encourage gardeners to dilute it with water.
