These Days everytime i see a rap video, its the same thing. A bunch of throwback jersey wearing, gaudy jewelry carring "cookie cutters"
Every rap video has at least 2 people throwing c notes at the screen, expensive SUV's and cars with 24 inch chrme rims, and countless botles of crystale.
The only good thing are some of the hoochies in the videos, but come on these video producers need to be more creative
Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

Not only are these scumbags RUINING hip hop but they are disgracing throwback jerseys as well. I have waited so long to aquire an old powder blue Phillies jersey and now, I question it.
Time to go shizzle with my dizzle.

Rap Videos are easy to avoid. Don't watch them...if you don't like them they probably weren't made for you to like. So what do you care if they're all the same?

Eminem is a lost cause but I am really losing respect, yeah RESPECT for Dr. Dre. I have been just repeatedly saying Fiddycent to people. The GARBAGE! I guess it is all who you know.

Rap music followed the same trends rock music...we're now in the "hair metal" era of rap music...all glitz, no substance. I guess that makes Eminem the Guns n Roses of the rap world.
Don't blame the music, blame the record companies. They are too focused on image to realize what they're doing to music...rap has almost lost all of its cultural relevance and edge.

Nas's video's are normally unique and have something to say. Just another reason why he's the best rapper these days.

You said it my brotha. Nothing gets me motivated by knowing Im white, and watching a "Fight the Power" video on MTV Jams. But until a movement like that comes back, watching BET for some batch material on mute...is all the rap these days I can handle.

Shit, Def Jux is the best label out there right now. Cannibal Ox, Aesop Rock, El-P, Mr. Lif...those guys are easily some of the best MC's on the scene. J-Live is up there, too...K-OS is a GREAT new MC...and the new album by Zion I is like the Pharcyde reborn. Illogic's last album "Got Rhymes?" should also definitely be heard...

the one thing that bugs me is something i hear in most of the songs:
"throw your hands in the air, and wave them like you just don't care"
other than that, to each his/her own...
PEACE UP!

The best part of the rap videos is that you see all of that expensive stuff and then you remember, oh yeah look at Tupac Shakur (my idol infact.) He died with no money and a shit load of debt because of Suge Knight. All that flash and bling bling and you have nothing to show for it once you aren't popular anymore. Ask MC Hammer. Mr. I have to whore my ass off on national television on a stupid reality tv show with a bunch of other formerly famous actors.
