At one point most of u thought pro wrestling was real, and the feuds were real. I knew it was fake when Hacksaw Duggan and the Iron Sheik who were feuding at the time were busted for having drugs in a car they were both in

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

When I realized that I had a brain.

Which doesn't say much about me, since I didn't find that out until human anatomy classes in school.

The first time I went to the Garden for a live card and saw Dick "The Bulldog" Brower take a swing at a dude, miss by at least a foot and a half, and the guy still went flying across the ring. A sad, sad night.

When Jake "the Snake" Roberts failed to ever beat the Million Dollar Man for the Million Dollar Belt...I knew that, pardon the expression, the fix was in.

No way could an evil mastermind with superior skill & the most devistating finisher of the time be continuously beaten by an old man. One who's greatest accomplishment (before creating & crowning himself Million Dollar Champion) was getting an 11 year old Rob Szatkowski/Van Dam to kiss his feet for $100.

At 6, my friend just kept telling me it was fake and when I watched more closely I just noticed that the punchs and kicks were always a foot off.

I think my mom told me not too long after I became a fan, in an effort to get me to stop watching it. Obviously it didn't work.

I disagree. Dibiase was one of the greatest heels of the 80s, and a damn fine wrestler to boot. You do him a disservice.

I first realized wrestling was fake when I was really young.....I don't know how old I was, but I rented one of those "Best of the WWF" volumes that Coloseum Home Video used to put out back in the 80s. It had two different matches on it: Hulk Hogan vs. "King" Harley Race. Two different matches mind you - from different dates, in different cities. And the matches were EXACTLY the same. EVERYTHING. From the timing of the bumps, to the punches, to the finishes. CARBON COPIES. At that point, I thought to myself, "Gee, that's kind of too much to be a coincidence...."

Randy Macho Man savage was at a royal rumble like 15 years ago and he ran accross the ring and "elbowed" ricky the dragon. I played it on pause (which was really really blurry on an old vcr with static lines and everything...but anyway)

his elbow never hit him! rickey has fliched before and his head was falling back and he wasn't even hit.

ever since then I've lost my faith in the world...

BIG ASS CARD HOLDER 316006 r+f are gone. Al is still gay. and Billy is still a drunk. and a waste. and sad. I even miss Billy.
