If used right, RVD could have been a main eventer, but infortunately HHH is the cornerstone for Raw. RVD would be a much better fit for Smackdown

Kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

uh uh

Smackdown would have been a better fit around Mr. Monday Night

Actually i don't think that RVD would be able to wrestle in matches against Angle, they clash too much. Everyone else though would probably be better than the likes of HHH

I personally find it sickening that RVD has never held the belt. Each and every time he goes out there me puts on a show. He's acrobatic, flexible, and quick. He's damn funny on the mic too.

Anyone GOOD would be better on SD! because its the better show. Plus I want to see RVD vs. Rey Rey soo bad.

With Rob's mic skills and wrestling it should have been a given to let him rule Raw and be the champion. He can cut a good promo and he's an amazing high flyer. But... of course something big is going to happen if HHH is ever going to lose.

I personally find it sickening that RVD has never held the belt I find it sickening that no one but HHH gets to hold the belt. As far as his push goes maybe they're doing RVD they way they're doing Booker T. They're going to see how well he takes being paired with a less talented but still pretty entertaining partner before they let him have a spotlight all his own.

What do you want from us? We're EVIL! EVIL!!!!!!

I wish this was the case, but RVD's been into & back out of the title picture as far back as his 3-way dance with Austin & Angle a year ago. They're going to continue to use him whenever they get desperate because they know their audience loves him.

But he won't get a title run unless (1) HHH gets hurt again and they are even more desperate or (2) Vince comes to his senses & sees that one of the most talented guys on his roster is being held back simply because he gave an ouchie to his baby girl's man toy (which wouldn't have happened if the tool positioned himself right in the first place & gave RVD enough room to hit the spot he was attempting).

No doubt, Rob Van Dam seems to just not be noticed when the creative team is looking to fill wrestlers in for certain belts or stories. RVD being such a top performer, they might be too complacent, thinking they always have him to fall back and use....when they should be putting him at the front.

He and Steven Richards set Heat on fire with their match!!! I may have to keep watching (or taping) to avoid missing anything like this happening again!

Now I'm starving

What are they gonna do now?

This always causes an uproar. But just think aboot it. RVD wasn't ever ECW WOrld Champion either and he was still the corner stone of ECW. Paul Heyman knew how to use RVD and did for along time without giving him the world title. RVD is better without a strap. If only WWE would learn how to use him.

The only reason he never got the World Title in ECW is because he broke his leg in a match against Rhino that was supposed to set the two of them up to run at the World Title & was out for months. When he went down with the injury, he had been the TV Champ for almost two straight years.

Then, just as he was ready to come back, ECW started really having money problems...and he was only appearing on a pay per night basis, so there was no way Paul E was going to put him in the title picture if he wasn't sure he could pay him for his next gig. I think when they went under, he alone was owed $150,000. He ran out of time

Part of the problem is that RVD's contract is up soon, so Vince doesn't want to push him if he doesn't have a long-term deal on him. He is so afraid of another Alandra Blayze type situation. If that happens especially with it being RVD it could be the downfall of the WWE. Because XPW or TNA would love to be able to pull the wool over Vince's eyes.kinda makes you think when the #1 rapper is white and the #1 golfer is black

That's got to be the stupidest thing I have ever read. First of all Alundra Blayze left WWF for WCW and a more lucrative contract. It would make absoluately no sense for RVD to leave WWE for XPW or TNA for that fact. He is getting paid, and he is getting to be on TV every week. If RVD's contract runs out, or he decides not to re-sign you can consider that career suicide.

Plus I bet if RVD doesn't resgn and tries to go to XPW or TNA, I;m sure vice will have some legal bulklshit to make sure he doesnt' compete or say anthing about the WWE for a while (a la Raven)

BTW, XPW's DVDs don't work in PS2s....son of a bitch!!!!
