I broke a tooth at a CKY show

I went to see CKY and Atreyu tonight. Ive heard of Cky from jackass so i figured id check them out. Atreya rules, their a kinda of medodic hardcore. During the Cky set some dickhead stagediver jumps off the stage and cracks me in the mouth,busting my from tooth out of my mouth. I hate stagedivers, I usualy try everything in my power to knock their asses to the floor. I mean there jumping on peoples fuckin heads. Also ever notice how the girls seem to ride the crowd much longer than guys??? I wonder why. Stagedivers and that whole mantality pisses me off

i saw some video of a guy who jumped off stage and the crowd just let him hit the floor...
have to admit it was pretty funny... not for that guy though, they had to carry him backstage....

guess you always have to be on your guard at them shows...

Sorry about that man and it does seem like stagediving is a bit more populated by the "tough guys" anymore. Thats why I stopped going to the warped tour. When you get the cool punk and hardcore that the masses start to enjoy, you just open yourself up to a show filled with the guy who is trying to be tougher and has NO IDEA what the scene is about anyway. A lot of the clubs don't even allow the diving anymore because of safety issues but when you have show where the bands are really not that popular or mainstream, the crowd normally expects what is going on and "plays nice" with one another.

I was one of those who hit the ground HARD stagediving once. I guess after 3 times, the crowd didn't want to catch me again. It was EXODUS and it was COOL TIMES!

As far as girls go, again, if you have a crowd that tends to be a bit more mainstream, they wil fondle and treat the girls differently than the guys. It is sexist and disgusting. I mean just cause you got a set of tits and want to "crowd surf" or dive, doen't mean if is free grab on her. I have been at shows where the bands have stopped playing because of it and because of fights too.

hahaha, man... i had stage dove at many sheer terror shows...

of course this is all alcohol induced... but it is a sheer terror show, if you know of them and knwo what they are about... then you would completely also understand.

and i believe it was the superbowl of hardcore 1999 or 2000 down at the nation... I was standing on the side of the stage, of course again i was blasted as hell... because i got a band pass(arent i cool?) so free booze and free food all night long.

So i turn to al and ask him "how many points do i get if i go off"

al says "man, your punk point book is filled, locked and can never be opened again... it just is overflowing".

and if you have been to the nation in DC, there is this stage that is EXTREMELY high, i would say it was about 10-12 feet high... and imagine me, flying through the air off of that...

i felt bad for those kids... for about 2 seconds...
