Ladies,

How important is it for you to date a man who can dance? I am a horrible dancer...uncoordinated, awkward...I feel foolish and embarassed when I'm on the dance floor...I've noticed this as a turn off...I'm all for having fun but I get a little insecure when it comes to dancing...

Can a guy still get by without dancing, or is it that important?

i dont think it matters, and not because i cant dance, either. actually, i think it helps if you both cant dance...it kinda eases the pressure of worrying about how awful you look, and you can have fun with it. I

Youll find 3 types of guys on any dance floor:

Gay

Conceited/Drunk

Weak men who cant say no to their wives/girlfriends/dates

(exception: weddings) So let your woman dance while you hold her purse...you might find something nice in there.

I have only recently begun to enjoy dancing. I have no moves and am COMPLETELY uncoordinated but if I'm having a good time, who cares how I look? I call it the "white-boy boogie", a term I read in Maxim not long ago.

Do you have a good time when you dance, Jeff? If so, the girls you've been dating are shallow li'l bitches who don't deserve you anyway.

I can't dance, but a couple weeks ago some chick asked if I wanted to and I wasn't gonna be a queer about it so I went out there and did it.

I also danced with a female friend for a little while later on in the night. It helps being drunk.

I believe they are refering to the random gyration of appendages often accompanied by music with a repetitive melody.

I dig dancing, though I look ridiculous doing it. I guess I'm gay, conceited, or drunk. I better see my therapist...
Might be cause I'm latino though... lots us us like to shake it.

I don't remember having a good time dancing unless it was at a ska/punk show and that's a totally different type of dancing...its sort of a solo thing....either that or you're pushing people around in a pit...

i wouldnt worry about it, jeff. i happen to really like dancing, and my boyfriend is really not a fan. he's danced with me once when he was pretty drunk, and that was fun. other times, he's hung out with the other guys that wouldnt dance while i went and danced with the girls. it's really not a deal breaker. if you were great, it could help, but i dont think it can hurt you to not be a good dancer, or not like to dance.

Guys who dance usually creep me out.

I like dancing with other girls, but once a guy trys to dance they usually look like an ass and i want to laugh or are creeped out.

as to answer the question -- public dancing would worry me, but if you just dance like in ur house, to a slow song with another person, it just has always been a lot nicer in my experience.

Well after laughing along with Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy (When he was still funny and did stand-up) and how assinine white people looked dancing. I vowed never to do any sort of modern dancing again. Slow dancing is slow dancing, Christ Christopher Reeve can still slow dance. But regular shit, uhh-uhh, Im out of there; guess that is why I am more of a bar person. Well that and the fact I am an alcoholic...

As a minority I must admit white folks dancing is very funny.(no offense) But after after couple a drinks it doesn't matter if you can or can't as long as you have a fine woman to dance with.
