It seems that there are many Brits posting on the board lately. If so, please tell me what football club you support and if you can get me a Golliwog.
I have Brits in my family and have celebrated many "Boxing Days" and drank my fair share of Lucazade while downing bangers and mash.
BTW I am a supporter of Liverpool although I have a soft spot for the soon to be relegated West Hammers. Who knows..maybe we can start a weekend football club?

i never really had a football club, the town had one but i don't think the hitchin canaries really count. my brother in law is a die hard barnsley fan though, my 2 yearold nephew is already in the fanclub.

i used to have a golliwog, it may still be in my grandma's attic...

The term "Limey" originates from the 1800's when Royal Navy personnel were battling "Scurvy" and treated the ailment with citrus fruits, mostly limes and lemons, which contained Vitamin C that cured them. The term is used with affection and humor and is not considered a slur. It's similar to calling an American a "Yank".
