or rent them bolth at the same time aslong as you see them bolth

the ring is really a big screw up if onyl they stick in all the stupid stuff and be lazy on the detials of the orginal story

its really a time thing the oringal Ringu takes place in 1998 so ti makes alot alot alot of sense

its jsut stupid and i want to stop it from making anymore money

and id liek to point out alot of stuff but ti might ruin the movie for people so

The ring was a good movie, BUT the ending fukin ruined it. It had the potential to be one of the best scary movies to come out in a loooong time.

Ringu is the original Japanese movie. The Ring is the American "update."

I've seen all sorts of reviews comparing one to another and people seems to be split into 5 camps.

1. Both movies were genius
2. One movie was better than the other
3. Both movies sucked
4. Ring Me? Nah, I'll RingU later.
5. Jennifer Love Hewitt is pretty hot.

i watched the ring this weekend ((i rent dvd's from blockbuster before they come out)) and i was fucking terrified. but, im prob gonna get my friend's dvd of ringu coz im hooked.

I liked The Ring. Watched it last week. I don't entirely get the ending, but I think I may start a sepereate thread so we can discuss with (major) spoilers.

Still haven't seen Ringu, or the Japanese prequel and sequel, but I will.
