i really dig this song, too. i believe it's called "7 nation army". i really liked the white stripes, but i was starting to feel like the whole stripped-down garage rock thing might have seen better days.... but i was wrong. this song is different enough from their other stuff to make it interesting. i'm looking forward to the new album now.

interesting story about their new album... they're really scared about bootlegging so they released the demos to the press in vinyl hoping the wouldnt hit the net, not surprisingly they did. they also spiked kazaa and other p2p file sharing programs with long mp3s of the first 10 seconds of a song over and over again in an attempt to frustrate their fans who are trying to listen to their new song.

well, i'm listening to 7 nation army right now and it's really cool.
